Piet Hamberg
Piet Hamberg (born 22 January 1954) is a former Dutch footballer and manager. He worked at Liverpool as technical manager for their academy. Playing career Hamberg began his youth career with Groningen. During his playing career, Hamberg represented NEC, Wageningen, Utrecht, Servette and Ajax. During a European Cup clash in Madrid his knee was injured, and it took him quite a while to get fit. Once he was declared fit to play, the same knee was injured in a match against PSV Eindhoven and he was sidelined for quite a period yet again, and eventually an Achilles tendon injury ended his career as a player. Hamberg played in one match for Netherlands national football team, but was unavailable for further selection due to the Achilles tendon injury that ended his career. The following is the summary of the Swiss National League in the 1978–79 football season, both Nationalliga A and Nationalliga B. This was the 82nd season of top-tier and the 81st season of second-tier football in Switzerland. Overview The Swiss Football Association (ASF/SFV) had 28 members at this time. The clubs were divided into two tiers, the top tier Nationalliga A (NLA) with 12 teams and the second tier Nationalliga B (NLB) with 16. The format in both divisions was that the teams played a double round-robin to decide their table positions. Two points were awarded for a win and one point was awarded for a draw. Each club playing every other club twice (home and away), for a total of 22 rounds in the NLA and 30 rounds in the NLB. Henk Ten Cate
Hendrik Willem ten Cate (born 9 December 1954) is a Dutch football coach and former player. In the 2005–06 season, he was assistant to Frank Rijkaard at Barcelona when the team won the UEFA Champions League and La Liga titles. He then served as manager of Ajax until October 2007 and won three trophies for the Dutch club. Ten Cate joined Chelsea on 11 October 2007 as assistant manager but stepped down after the defeat of the 2008 UEFA Champions League Final on 29 May 2008, just five days after the departure of manager Avram Grant. Otto Pfister
Otto Martin Pfister (born 24 November 1937) is a German former football manager and one of Germany's most successful coaching exports, voted Africa's ''Manager of the Year'' in 1992. He is formerly the manager of the Afghanistan national team. Coaching career Pfister has been involved in association football for almost 60 years, he began his coaching career in Switzerland as player-coach in 1961 at the age of just 23. Pfister's early coaching experience was gained with FC Vaduz, FC St. Gallen, FC Nordstern Basel, FC Moutier and finally FC Chur 97.
