Phil Cornwell
Philip Cornwell is an English actor, comedian, impressionist and writer. He is part of the '' Dead Ringers'' television and radio series, and is the voice of Murdoc Niccals in the virtual band Gorillaz. Cornwell has co-written and performed principal roles in '' The Glam Metal Detectives'' and '' Stella Street''. He also portrayed DJ Dave Clifton from '' I'm Alan Partridge'' and the movie, '' Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa''. Early life and career Cornwell was born in Leigh-on-Sea, in the County of Essex. Leigh-on-Sea (), commonly referred to simply as Leigh, is a List of towns in England, town and civil parish within the city of Southend-on-Sea, located in the ceremonial county of Essex, England. John Sessions
John Sessions (born John Marshall; 11 January 1953 – 2 November 2020) was a British actor and comedian. He was known as a regular performer on comedy improvisation show '' Whose Line Is It Anyway?'', as co-creator, co-writer and co-star of the sitcom '' Stella Street'', as a panellist on '' QI'', and as a character actor in numerous films, both in the UK and Hollywood. ''King Arthur's Disasters'' is a British animated series which first aired on CITV. Radio Norwich is a fictional radio station in Norwich, England, in the television series ''I'm Alan Partridge''. It parodies elements from both BBC Local Radio and Independent Local Radio. ''Detectives on the Edge of a Nervous Breakdown'' is a short comedy film made by The Comic Strip for the BBC, first broadcast in the UK in 1993. The film employs techniques of metafictional parody to make overt critical comparisons between 1990s TV detective shows and their 1970s counterparts. The editorial line taken throughout the film presents a very affectionate portrayal of several of these 1970s shows, despite acknowledging their use of styles and methods that had since become somewhat clichéd.
