Gilbert The Alien
''Get Fresh'' is a children's television programme that originally aired from 1986 to 1988 in the United Kingdom. Format A Saturday-morning kids' TV show, broadcast on the CITV, Children's ITV block, the show featured Gareth Jones (presenter), Gareth Jones (aka Gaz Top), Charlotte Hindle, and, for the first year of its run, Gian Sammarco, the British child actor best known for his portrayal of the character 'Adrian Mole'. Sammarco was replaced for the 2nd and 3rd series by a puppet named Gilbert the Alien (voiced by Phil Cornwell). Each week the series would be broadcast from a different UK location and centred on the ''Millennium Dustbin'', a fictional space ship in which the presenters would travel the country. Gareth Jones (presenter)
Gareth Jones (born 5 July 1961), also known as Gaz Top, is a Welsh television presenter. Best known for his work as a presenter of children's television and science programmesGareth Jones The Right Address. such as ''How 2'' and ''Get Fresh'', he has more recently moved to presenting motorsport podcasts and directing and producing programmes. Margam Country Park
Margam Country Park is a country park estate in Wales, of around 850 acres (3.4 km2). It is situated in Margam, about 2 miles (3 km) from Port Talbot in south Wales. It was once owned by the Christopher Rice Mansel Talbot, Mansel Talbot family and is now owned and administered by the local council, Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council. Situated within the park are three notable buildings: Margam Abbey, a Cistercians, Cistercian monastery; Margam Castle, a neo-Gothic country house that was once the seat of the Mansel Talbot family; and the 18th-century Orangery. The park is designated Grade I on the Cadw/ICOMOS Register of Parks and Gardens of Special Historic Interest in Wales. Tropicana, Weston-super-Mare
The Tropicana, formerly a Lido site that once contained an outdoor swimming pool, is located in the seaside town of Weston-super-Mare in North Somerset, England. It is located on the Bristol Channel coast, on the southern section of the seafront. The iconic seafront landmark re-opened in 2015 following fifteen years of closure, with the creation of the Bay Café licensed café and lounge. The venue now offers multi-use indoor and outdoor event space, with capacities suitable of accommodating a diverse range of events including corporate, charity, exhibitions, music, arts and culture events. Construction The site was first developed as a swimming pool in 1937 and included an art deco diving board. The ''Tuxedo Princess'' (ex- TSS ''Caledonian Princess'') and ''Tuxedo Royale'' (ex- TSS ''Dover'') were two former car ferries used as permanently moored floating nightclubs in the United Kingdom from the 1980s to the 2000s. Both ships saw use on the River Tyne at different times, while the ''Princess'' also saw use on the River Clyde in Glasgow, and the ''Royale'' on the River Tees in Middlesbrough. ''The Adventures of Teddy Ruxpin'' is a children's animated television series based on Teddy Ruxpin, an electronic children's toy created by Ken Forsse and distributed by toy manufacturer Worlds of Wonder (WoW9. David "Kid" Jensen
David Allan Jensen (born 4 July 1950) is a Canadian-born British radio DJ and television presenter. Born in Victoria, British Columbia, Jensen began as a radio DJ on Radio Luxembourg. Jensen was later a broadcaster for the BBC from 1976 to 1984, as a host on BBC Radio 1 and presenter on the TV music programme ''Top of the Pops'' from 1977 to 1984. Anthony Edward Paolo Firetto (born 30 June 1957 in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire) is a British radio presenter, TV host and actor, currently based in San Francisco, United States. Biography Firetto became known as a DJ in the 1970s, then as a television personality in the 1980s.
