''Devil May Cry'' is a series of video games set in the present, created by Hideki Kamiya, a Game design#Game designer, video-game designer and developed by his employer Capcom and Clover Studio. The series' success has led to comic books, novelizations, two anime series, guides, collectibles and a variety of action figures. The first game focuses on devil hunter Dante (Devil May Cry), Dante's mission to avenge the death of his mother, Eva, by exterminating demons. In the process he encounters his long-lost twin brother, Vergil (Devil May Cry), Vergil, with whom he has a dysfunctional relationship. As the story progresses, Dante encounter his father's nemesis, a demon emperor, #Mundus, Mundus, who is found to be responsible for the murder of Dante's mother. Years after the first game, Capcom developed new ''Devil May Cry'' games with new characters. is a 2008 action-adventure game developed and published by Capcom. It was released for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Microsoft Windows platforms. It is the fourth installment in the ''Devil May Cry'' series and is written by Bingo Morihashi and directed by Hideaki Itsuno. The ''Divine Comedy'' (, ) is an Italian narrative poetry, narrative poem by Dante Alighieri, begun and completed around 1321, shortly before the author's death. Buichi Terasawa
was a Japanese manga artist. His most famous works include '' Goku Midnight Eye'' and ''Cobra''. Early life and career Terasawa was born on March 30, 1955, in Asahikawa, Hokkaido. In the early days of his career, while still unknown, he contributed comics to a magazine that won him a prize. This event led him deeper into the world of comics. In 1976 he moved to Tokyo and began to study under renowned Japanese manga artist, Osamu Tezuka. Cobra (manga)
is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Buichi Terasawa. Set in the far future, the series tells the story of Cobra, who lives an adventurous life until his enemies begin to hunt him down. Bingo Morihashi
is a Japanese novelist. He also contributed to writing the video game franchise ''Devil May Cry'', its television anime series, as well as two light novels based on it. Career Morihashi published his first series named ''Tokyo Shimatsumou'' which was divided in two volumes. During the making of the second volume, Morihashi was hired by Capcom to get assistance with the video game '' Devil May Cry 2''. In terms of chronological order, the game's events are set after ''Devil May Cry'' and prior to '' Devil May Cry 4''. Devil May Cry
is a science fantasy action-adventure game franchise created by Hideki Kamiya. It is primarily developed and published by Capcom.
