Peter Vyncke
Peter Vyncke (born January 12th, 1971) is a Belgian entrepreneur and Co-CEO of Vyncke. Peter manages the family business with his brother Dieter Vyncke. Personal life and education Peter Vyncke, son of Dirk and Daisy Vyncke, is the oldest of 4 siblings. He was born in Kortrijk, and raised in Harelbeke. Vyncke graduated from KU Leuven University in 1994 with a degree in applied economics. Between 1996 and 2000 Vyncke led the Asian branch of the family business in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. In 2020 he moved to Singapore to manage the company in the proximity of its Asian customers. Career In 2002, Peter and Dieter Vyncke took over the family business from their parents and sisters. Subsequent to their hiring, the company expanded internationally. The COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 required significant flexibility. Vyncke NV is a fourth generation Belgian global family business that originated in Flanders with over 350 employees in Belgium, Brazil, China, Czech Republic, Germany, Malaysia, Spain, and Thailand. The company was founded in 1912 by Louis Vyncke to design and build steam energy plants to burn biomass and waste into thermal energy and electrical power. The energy is delivered as a combination of steam, hot water, thermal oil, hot gas, or electricity, depending on the industrial process. Harelbeke (; vls, Oarlbeke) is a city and municipality located in the Belgian province of West Flanders. The municipality comprises the city of Harelbeke proper and the towns of Bavikhove and Hulste. ''Young Flemish'' was a subgroup of the Mennonites, itself a subgroup of Anabaptism, from about the 1580s to the 1630s in what is now Belgium and the Netherlands. From the 1520s Dutch Protestants started to fragment, with the Anabaptists as the first to create a rift. From 1530 to 1550 the Anabaptist movement acted as the Reformation's arm and mouthpiece. Their followers were persecuted which created disagreement among them as to how to handle this, either by taking up arms to resist or passive defiance. Flemish Movement
The Flemish Movement ( nl, Vlaamse Beweging) is an umbrella term which encompasses various political groups in the Belgian region of Flanders and, less commonly, in French Flanders.
