Peter Morrissey (8579006563)
Peter Morrissey (born 1962) is an Australian fashion designer. He collaborated with Leona Edmiston on the Morrissey Edmiston fashion label for 14 years before founding his own label, Morrissey, in 1997. Following the sale of the label in 2000 to Oroton Group then to M Webster Holdings in 2006, it went defunct in 2009. In 2009, Morrissey began designing clothes for the mass market, before introducing homeware ranges in the 2010s. Early life Morrissey was born in 1962. He grew up in the Sutherland Shire with his twin sister and four brothers. He attended school at Our Lady of Fatima in Caringbah and Career Morrissey has been active in the Australian fashion industry since the 1980s. Project Runway Australia
''Project Runway Australia'' is a reality television show based on the American program ''Project Runway'', wherein fashion designers residing in Australia compete by making specific garments for weekly challenges. The show features Megan Gale as the host, and Peter Morrissey and Claudia Navone as judges. Alex Perry acts as a mentor to the contestants, as Tim Gunn does in the American version. Production began in May 2008, and the show premiered on Arena 8.30 p.m. (AEST) Monday 7 July 2008. The show ended after 4 seasons, with the final season airing on 17 December 2012. Bruno Schiavi (born 10 July 1972) is an Australian fashion designer and businessman. Early life Schiavi was born on 10 July 1972 in Sydney's Inner West. His father worked for Italian embassies; the family moved several times before eventually settling in Australia. He attended Rosebank College in the Inner Western Sydney suburb of Five Dock, graduating in 1990. Schiavi's university studies were in business and marketing. He worked at Target for eight years, starting in the 1980s. In 1995 he and his mother launched Jupi Corporation to sell women's underwear over the internet. Design work In 1998 Schiavi invented a sock with a zippered pocket and sold it through Gowings. OPSM (Optical Prescription Spectacle Makers) is a retailer of eye glasses in Australia and New Zealand, with locations in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Malaysia.
