The 74 regional units of Greece (, ; singular , ) are the country's third-level administrative units (counting decentralized administrations as first-level). They are subdivisions of the country's 13 regions, and are further divided into municipalities. They were introduced as part of the Kallikratis administrative reform on 1 January 2011 and are comparable in area and, on the mainland, coterminous with the "pre-Kallikratis" prefectures of Greece Until the Kallikratis reform in 2010, the prefectures () were the second-level administrative regions of Greece. Euboea Prefecture
Euboea () is one of the regional units of Greece. It is part of the administrative region of Central Greece. It consists of the islands of Euboea and Skyros, as well as a 260 km2 area on the Greek mainland. Its land area is 4,167.449 km2, whereas the total land area of the municipalities actually on the island Euboea is 3,684.848 km2, which includes that of numerous small offshore islets ( Petalies Islands) near Euboea's southern tip. Piraeus Prefecture
Piraeus Prefecture () was one of the prefectures of Greece. Created in 1964 as a separate Prefecture (Νομός) and after the dissolution of the prefecture in 1972 was one of the 4 prefectures (Νομαρχίες) of Attica prefecture, and from 1994, part of the Athens-Piraeus super-prefecture (1994–2011).
