Per Jonas Wiberg (born 8 June 1968) is a Swedes, Swedish musician who has been a member of the bands Spiritual Beggars (1998-) as a keyboardist, ''King Hobo'' (2007-) as a keyboardist, guitarist, and vocalist, and Kamchatka (band), Kamchatka (2015-) as a bassist and vocalist, his solo band, ''Per Wiberg'' (2019-), and ''Switchblade'' (2020-) as a Bassist. Wiberg was formerly in the bands, ''Death Organ'' (1993-1997) as an Organist, ''Boom Club'' (1994) as a Vocalist, and Opeth (2003-2011) as a Keyboardist / Backing vocalist. Before joining Spiritual Beggars, Wiberg was a member of Death Organ, a band based in Borlänge. He has also fronted the band Boom Club, of the same area. Tiamat is a Swedish metal band that formed in Stockholm in 1987 and led by Johan Edlund. The band went through a number of stylistic changes in their earlier releases before settling on gothic metal. History Initially, the band had the name Treblinka and a style of black metal, black/death metal. After having recorded the album ''Sumerian Cry'' in 1989, guitarist/vocalist Johan Edlund and bassist Jörgen Thullberg parted ways with the other two founding members, and subsequently changed the name to Tiamat, after the Babylonia, Babylonian Tiamat, goddess representing the primordial sea and forebear to other gods. Big Scenic Nowhere is an American rock supergroup from California. Jean-Paul Gaster (born June 19, 1971) is an American musician who is the drummer for the rock band Clutch. Style and influences Gaster learned to play drums by playing along to 1960s and 1970s heavy rock bands like Jimi Hendrix, Cream, ZZ Top and Black Sabbath. Washington, D.C.'s Go-go music and in particular drummers such as Ju Ju House, Brandon Finley and Ricky Wellman were early influences as well. He is one of many students who studied with legendary Washington, D.C., drummer and educator Walter Salb. Melodic death metal (also referred to as melodeath) is a subgenre of death metal that employs highly melodic guitar riffs, often borrowing from traditional heavy metal (including New Wave of British Heavy Metal). The genre features the heaviness of death metal but with highly melodic or harmonized guitar riffs and solos, and often features high-pitched shrieked vocals (differing from traditional death metal) alongside the low-pitched growls commonly featured in traditional death metal.
