Pedro Vallana
Pedro Vicente Saturnino Vallana Jeanguenat (29 November 1897 – 4 July 1980) was a Spanish footballer, referee and manager in Spain in the 1920s. He was of Italian and Swiss descent. He spent all 12 seasons of his playing career with Arenas de Getxo, during the club's golden age, thus being a historical player of the club and part of the so-called one-club men group. He was a member of the Spain national team which won the silver medal in the football tournament of the 1920 Summer Olympics in Antwerp. He participated in a further two Olympic Games (1924 and 1928) for a total of three, a record that no other Spanish footballer has broken. Once retired, he was a prestigious referee in Spain in La Liga and during the Spanish Civil War, he coached the Basque Country national team, a fact that led to his exile in Uruguay after the war, living there until his death in 1980. Getxo () is a town located in the province of Biscay, in the autonomous community of the Basque Country, in Spain. It is part of Greater Bilbao, and has 77,946 inhabitants (2019). 1919 Copa Del Rey Final
The 1919 Copa del Rey Final was an association football match between Arenas Club de Getxo and FC Barcelona on 18 May 1919 at the Martínez Campos stadium in Madrid. It was the deciding match of the Spanish cup competition, the Copa del Rey. Both teams progressed through a quarterfinal and a semifinal round to reach the final, with Barcelona going undefeated throughout the tournament. Arenas de Getxo defeated Barcelona 5–2 and won their first title. Real Unión Club, S.A.D. is a Spanish football club based in Irun, in the autonomous community of the Basque Country, in the province of Gipuzkoa, near the border with France. Domingo Careaga Achalandabaso (3 August 1897 - 29 August 1947) was a Spanish footballer who played as a defender for Arenas de Getxo. Careaga spent all 14 seasons of his playing career with Arenas de Getxo, thus being a historical member of the club and part of the so-called one-club men group. He also played in four matches for the Spain national football team between 1921 and 1923.
