Peavey 6505
The Peavey 5150 is a vacuum tube based guitar amplifier made by Peavey Electronics from 1992 on. The amplifier was initially created as a signature model for Eddie Van Halen. Counterintuitively its name does not derive as some consecutive Peavey model number but ultimately refers to Van Halen's own 5150_Studios, 5150 Studios which in turn -humorously- are named after the Lanterman–Petris–Short_Act#5150_Hold, Lanterman–Petris–Short Act §5150, some legal code which under certain circumstances allows Californian authorities to confine undesirables in a mental institution temporarily. After Van Halen and Peavey parted ways in 2004, the name was changed to Peavey 6505 in celebration of Peavey's 40th anniversary (1965–2005). 12AX7 (also known as ECC83) is a miniature dual-triode vacuum tube with high voltage gain (electronics), gain. Developed around 1946 by RCA engineers in Camden, New Jersey, under developmental number A-4522, it was released for public sale under the 12AX7 identifier on September 15, 1947. The 12AX7 was originally intended as replacement for the 6SL7 family of dual-triode amplifier tubes for audio applications. As a popular choice for guitar tube amplifiers, its ongoing use in such equipment makes it one of the few small-signal vacuum tubes in continuous production since it was introduced. Dino Cazares (born September 2, 1966) is an American musician, best known as the guitarist and one of the co-founders of industrial metal band Fear Factory. He is also a co-founder of Divine Heresy, Asesino, and Brujeria (band), Brujeria. Cazares popularized the use of Digital amplification, digital amp modelling processors, as well as the use of Seven-string guitar, seven and eight-string guitars in metal music. Career Cazares met singer Burton C. Matthew Tuck (born 20 January 1980) is a Welsh musician, best known as the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist of the heavy metal band Bullet for My Valentine. He is also a guitarist and singer in the supergroup AxeWound, which was formed in 2012. Career Bullet for My Valentine formed in 1998 under the name Jeff Killed John and were originally a nu metal band.
