Pearl Aday
Pearl Aday (born 1975) is an American singer. She is the adopted daughter of vocalist Marvin Lee Aday, better known as Meat Loaf, and was a member of his touring band Neverland Express for nine years starting in the mid-1990s. She has appeared on numerous albums and in various tours and television performances with her father, both as backing singer and in duets. She has also been a backing singer for Mötley Crüe. She is currently the lead singer of her own band "Pearl" and has released her debut album on Megaforce/RED/Sony Music on January 19, 2010. Aday also co-organized the hard rock group Motor Sister with her husband Scott Ian, singing backing vocals. Early life Aday was born to Leslie G. Edmonds and Clark Pierson, who was a drummer in singer Janis Joplin's group, Full Tilt Boogie Band. She was adopted by Meat Loaf as a young child, after his marriage to Leslie. ''Bat Out of Hell II: Back into Hell'' is the sixth studio album by American rock singer Meat Loaf and the second in the ''Bat Out of Hell'' trilogy, which was written and produced by Jim Steinman. It was released on September 14, 1993, sixteen years after Meat Loaf's first solo album ''Bat Out of Hell''. The album reached number 1 in the United States, United Kingdom and Canada. Anthrax (American Band)
Anthrax is an American thrash metal band from New York City, formed in 1981 by rhythm guitarist Scott Ian and bassist Dan Lilker. The group is considered one of the leaders of the thrash metal scene from the 1980s and is part of the "Big Four" of the genre, along with Metallica, Megadeth and Slayer. They were also one of the first thrash metal bands (along with Overkill (band), Overkill and Nuclear Assault) to emerge from the East Coast. Henry Lawrence Garfield (born February 13, 1961), known professionally as Henry Rollins, is an American singer, writer, spoken word artist, actor, comedian, and presenter. After performing in the short-lived hardcore punk band State of Alert in 1980, Rollins fronted the California hardcore band Black Flag (band), Black Flag from 1981 to 1986. Rollins Band was an American rock band formed in Van Nuys, California. The band was active from 1987 to 2006 and was led by former Black Flag vocalist Henry Rollins. They are best known for the songs "Low Self Opinion" and "Liar", both of which garnered heavy airplay on MTV in the early-mid 1990s. Mother Superior (band)
Mother Superior was an American hard rock band based in Los Angeles and active from 1993 to 2011. A power trio, they originally consisted of guitarist/vocalist Jim Wilson, bassist Marcus Blake and drummer Jason Mackenroth. Mother Superior released eight studio albums. History Wilson, Blake and Mackenroth backed vocalist Henry Rollins for three studio albums as the final lineup of Rollins Band from 1997 to 2003. Filter is an American rock music, rock band formed in 1993 in Cleveland, Ohio, by singer Richard Patrick, along with guitarist and programmer Brian Liesegang. Seize The Night Tour
Seize the Night, also known as the Three Bats tour, is a 2007 world tour by Meat Loaf to promote the album '' Bat Out of Hell III: The Monster Is Loose''. Some concerts in April were cancelled due to Meat Loaf's ill health. Just over an hour into a concert in Newcastle upon Tyne on October 31, 2007, he told the audience that it was the last of his life, and walked off stage. He was later diagnosed with an "inter-vocal cord cyst" and cancelled the remaining dates on his European tour. Playing down the comments he made at Newcastle, in a statement he said "I'll be back." A DVD of the tour was released in October 2007, entitled ''3 Bats Live''. It also contains a bonus disc featuring the promotional videos and animations from ''Bat III''.
