Paul Fong
Paul J. Fong () (born August 5, 1952) is an American politician. He is a former Democratic Party (United States), Democratic California State Assembly member from the California's 28th State Assembly district, 28th district. Earlier years Fong was born in Macau, then a Portugal, Portuguese colony, in 1952. When he was three years old, his family moved from Macau to the San Francisco Bay Area. In the early 1970s, Fong was a quarterback for the Sunnyvale High School (California), Sunnyvale High School football team. Fong then attended De Anza College and played on its football team. He then attended San Jose State University where he earned his Bachelor of Arts, B.A. in Sociology and his master's degree in public administration. In succeeding years, Fong has taught Asian-American studies at De Anza College and Political Science at Evergreen Valley College. Sally J. Lieber (born April 24, 1961) is an American politician from the state of California who has served as a member of the California State Board of Equalization since 2023. She was previously a member of the Mountain View, California, Mountain View City Council and the California State Assembly. The Chief Clerk of the California Assembly is a nonpartisan elected officer of the California State Assembly. The Chief Clerk serves as the chief parliamentarian of the 80-member house.
