Parvez Rasool
Parvez Ghulam Rasool Zargar (born 13 February 1989) is an Indian cricketer who plays as an all-rounder for Jammu and Kashmir. A right-hand batsman and offbreak bowler, Rasool is the captain of the Jammu and Kashmir team and a regular member of India A. He was bought for by the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 2014 IPL auction. Rasool was the first cricketer from Jammu and Kashmir to have played in The IPL and also the first from the state to play for the Indian National Team in ODI's and T20I's. He played only 1 T20I and 1 ODI in his international career. Rasool received his maiden call-up for the national team in 2013 for the Zimbabwe tour. Rasool finally represented the national team against Bangladesh on 15 June 2014 at Mirpur. Bijbehara (, known as Vejibror () in Kashmiri, is a town and a notified area committee in Anantnag district of the Indian administered union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. Edward James McKenzie Cowan (born 16 June 1982) is an Australian former cricketer, who played domestically mainly for New South Wales and Tasmania as a left handed opening batsman. 2012–13 Ranji Trophy
The 2012–13 Ranji Trophy was the 79th season of the Ranji Trophy. It was contested by 27 teams divided into three groups of nine teams each. The top three teams from Groups A and B proceeded to the quarterfinals along with the top two teams from Group C. Mumbai won this year's trophy for the 40th time by beating Saurashtra in the final at the Wankhede. The season had a different grouping system compared to that of the previous seasons, which had Elite and Plate divisions. The new system also increased the number of matches of the tournament. The points awarded to outright wins were increased from five to six in order to encourage results. The knock-out matches will be played across five days instead of four. Abdul Qayoom (cricketer)
Abdul Qayoom Bagaw (born 2 March 1967) is an Indian former first-class cricketer who played for Jammu and Kashmir. Qayoom was regarded as the finest fast bowler from Jammu and Kashmir. He worked as a coach for the state association after his playing career. Life and career Qayoom started playing cricket as a wicket-keeper, before he became a fast bowler in 1982–83.
