Partenavia Mosquito
__NOTOC__ The Partenavia P.86 Mosquito was a two-seat civil trainer aircraft first flown in Italy on 27 April 1986.Taylor 1988, p. 160. It was a high-wing monoplane of pod-and-boom construction with tricycle undercarriage and a twin tail, that accommodated the student and instructor side-by-side. In 1988, Partenavia created the Aviolight company as a joint venture with two other partners in order to produce the aircraft, with an initial series of 100 aircraft to be powered by a 56 kW (75 hp) Limbach L2000, with modifications to allow certification. Nothing came of it, and the prototype was the only example produced. Partenavia itself was declared bankrupt the same year. Partenavia
Partenavia Construzioni Aeronautiche was an Italian aircraft manufacturer that specialised in general aviation. The company operated between 1957 and 1998. Founded by Professor Luigi Pascale, Partenavia became a limited company in 1959, and was acquired by the Italian state-owned aerospace firm Aeritalia during 1981. During the 1980s, the firm concentrated activity on the production of two aircraft, the Partenavia P.68, P.68 twin-engined multi-mission transport and the Partenavia Oscar, P.66C Charlie trainer aircraft. During 1991, Partenavia was sold to ''Aercosmos''; seven years later, the firm was declared bankrupt and was dissolved. Much of its assets were acquired by rival aircraft manufacturer Vulcanair, who continued the production and development of some parts of the company's former product range. The Robin ATL (''Avion Très Léger'', "very light aircraft") is a French two-seat light aircraft designed by Avions Robin in the 1980s to meet a need for an economical two-seat aircraft to equip flying clubs. It is a single-engined monoplane with a fixed tricycle undercarriage, conventional control stick, and is, unusually, fitted with a V-tail. Due to the large bubble canopy, visibility is excellent.
