Paperinik
Paperinik (), also known as PK (Italy, ), Superduck (UK and Digicomics) or Duck Avenger (US), is a comic book-costumed vigilante and Donald Duck's alter ego. The character was created in Italy by Elisa Penna, Guido Martina and Giovan Battista Carpi, and first appeared in the Italian comic series '' Topolino'' #706 (June 1969). The character appears in specific Paperinik stories, and he is never mentioned in the main Duckburg continuity. In the comics, Donald originally created Paperinik as a dark avenger alter-identity to secretly seek revenge upon relatives, before he soon found himself fighting other menaces as a vigilante. He subsequently appeared in many stories on other Disney publications, some of which were dedicated to the character. Donald Fauntleroy Duck is a cartoon character created by the Walt Disney Company. Donald is an Anthropomorphism, anthropomorphic white duck with a yellow-orange bill, legs, and feet. ''PK – Paperinik New Adventures'' (''PKNA'') is an Italian comic, published by Disney Italy from 14 March 1996 to 20 December 2000, about the new adventures of Paperinik (known as ''Duck Avenger'' in the United States), the superhero created in 1969 by Guido Martina, Elisa Penna and Giovan Battista Carpi, which served as Donald Duck's secret identity. The first issue of the series was called "Evroniani", and featured Paperinik's new alien enemies, the Evronians. Introduced in the same issue were Paperinik's two new allies, the A.I. Uno (One), who resides in the skyscraper Ducklair Tower, and Lyla Lay (Lyla Lee), a journalist and robot utilized by a time police organization based in the 23rd century. Guido Martina
Guido Martina (9 February 1906 – 6 May 1991) was an Italian comic writer, documentarist and author. Martina is well known for his Disney comics stories, including the first of the "" story "L'inferno di Topolino", and the creation of Paperinik, Donald Duck's superhero alter ego. Giovan Battista Carpi
Giovan Battista Carpi (; November 16, 1927 – March 8, 1999) was a prolific Italian comics artist, illustrator, and teacher from Genoa. Carpi worked mainly for Disney comics, mostly on books featuring Donald Duck and Scrooge McDuck, although he occasionally drew Mickey Mouse as well. He created Paperinik with Guido Martina. He also created other well-known comic characters for , such as Geppo, Nonna Abelarda, and . ''Topolino'' (from the Italian language, Italian name for Mickey Mouse) is an Italian digest-sized comic series featuring Disney comics. The series has had a long running history, first appearing in 1932 as a comics magazine. Since 2013, it has been published by Panini Comics. Topolino ''giornale'' (1932–1949) In 1932 the editor Mario Nerbini decided to open a new weekly newspaper for kids, containing illustrated tales with Mickey Mouse. Gyro Gearloose ( ) is a cartoon character created in 1952 by Carl Barks for Disney comics.
