''Papercuts (Singles Collection 2000–2023)'', or simply ''Papercuts'', is the first greatest hits album by American rock band Linkin Park. It was released on April 12, 2024, through Warner Records, following the '' Meteora 20th Anniversary Edition'' (2023). On June 28, 2024, the instrumental version of the album was released with the same track listing. Background The album spans the band's best-selling singles from 2000 to 2023 and was announced alongside the release of the song " Friendly Fire" on February 23, 2024, which appears as the final track and had been recorded during the ''One More Light'' (2017) sessions. ''Papercuts'' also includes the official release of the song "Qwerty", which first appeared on the band's 2006 fanclub-exclusive EP, '' LP Underground 6.0''. Linkin Park is an American Rock music, rock band formed in Agoura Hills, California, in 1996. The band's current lineup consists of vocalist/rhythm guitarist/keyboardist Mike Shinoda, lead guitarist Brad Delson, DJ/turntablist Joe Hahn, bassist Dave Farrell, vocalist Emily Armstrong, and drummer Colin Brittain. The lineup for the band's first seven studio albums included lead vocalist Chester Bennington and drummer Rob Bourdon until Bennington's death in July 2017, which caused the band to enter an indefinite hiatus. "Qwerty" (stylised in all caps) is a song by American rock band Linkin Park. Originally recorded during sessions for their third studio album, '' Minutes to Midnight'' (2007), the song debuted on a four-date mini-tour of Japan in August 2006, which served as a break from the studio while the band was working on the album. The studio version of the track debuted on the '' LP Underground 6.0'' (2006), an album made available exclusively to the band's official fan club, released on December 5, 2006. Rob Bourdon
Robert Gregory Bourdon (born January 20, 1979) is an American musician, best known as a co-founding member and the former drummer of the rock band Linkin Park. He remained in the band until their hiatus in 2017; when the band members began working together out of the public eye in 2019, he declined to rejoin the band and was succeeded by Colin Brittain. Early life Bourdon was born in Calabasas, California. He received classical piano lessons at a young age. He was inspired to play the drums after attending an Aerosmith concert, where he was personally introduced to drummer Joey Kramer. He also cites Tower of Power and Earth, Wind and Fire as his early influences. Chester Bennington
Chester Charles Bennington (March 20, 1976 – July 20, 2017) was an American singer who was the lead vocalist of the rock band Linkin Park. He was also the lead vocalist of Grey Daze, Dead by Sunrise, and Stone Temple Pilots at various points in his career. Bennington first gained prominence as a vocalist following the release of Linkin Park's debut album, ''Hybrid Theory'' (2000), which was a worldwide commercial success. ''The Hunting Party'' is the sixth studio album by American rock band Linkin Park. The album, produced by band members Mike Shinoda and Brad Delson, was released by Warner Bros. Records and Machine Shop on June 17, 2014. It is the first album since ''Meteora'' (2003) not to be produced with Rick Rubin, who produced the band's previous three studio albums.
