Pam St Clement
Pamela Ann Clements (born 11 May 1942), known professionally as Pam St Clement, is an English actress. She is known for portraying the role of Pat Butcher in the BBC soap opera ''EastEnders'' from 12 June 1986 until 1 January 2012, with a guest appearance in May 2016, thereby becoming one of the programme's longest-serving cast members. Early life St Clement's parents, Ann Tribe and Reginald Clements, married in 1940. Shortly after St Clement's birth in 1942, her mother died of tuberculosis, and she was put into foster care when her father remarried. St Clement subsequently grew up in various foster homes until she was taken in by a family who owned a farm in Devon. She has commented: "I was very fortunate in the end. Dangerous Davies
Detective Constable "Dangerous" Davies is the central character in a series of comic detective novels by Leslie Thomas and a TV series, ''The Last Detective'' made for ITV and starring Peter Davison. The first novel in the series had earlier been made into a film for television in 1981. It starred Bernard Cribbins and was scripted by Leslie Thomas. Profile Davies is a low-ranked CID (mentioned as a detective constable at least once) officer in the London borough of Willesden. ''Shoestring'' is a British detective fiction drama series, set in an unnamed city in the West of England and filmed in Bristol, featuring the down-at-heel private detective Eddie Shoestring ( Trevor Eve), who presents his own show on Radio West, a local radio station. Broadcast on BBC1, the programme lasted for two series, between 30 September 1979 and 21 December 1980, featuring a total of 21 episodes. ''Enemy at the Door'' is a British television drama series made by London Weekend Television for ITV. The series was shown between 1978 and 1980 and dealt with the German occupation of Guernsey, one of the Channel Islands, during the Second World War. The programme generated a certain amount of criticism in Guernsey, particularly for being obviously filmed on Jersey. The series also marked the television debut of Anthony Head as a member of the island resistance. The theme music was composed by Wilfred Josephs. ''Within These Walls'' is a British television drama programme made by London Weekend Television for ITV and shown between 1974 and 1978. It portrayed life in HMP Stone Park, a fictional women's prison.
