''Padmashree Sahitya Puraskar'' () is an annual literary prize in Nepali literature, presented by ''Khemlal-Harikala Lamichhane Samaaj Kalyan Pratisthan''. The award is given to a book that has provided a great contribution in the field of Nepali literature. This award is given alongside Padmashree Sadhana Samman. History The award was established in 2006 (2063 BS) by writer and businessman Jiba Lamichhane. He founded the organization ''Khemlal-Harikala Lamichhane Samaaj Kalyan Pratisthan'' in honor of his parents''.'' Ganesh Rasik was the first winner of the award. The Nepalese rupee (; currency sign, sign: रु; ISO 4217, code: NPR) is the official currency and legal tender of Nepal. It is also sometimes abbreviated as N₨ or Re./Rs. informally. Upendra Subba
Upendra Bahadur Angdembe Limbu who is known as Upendra Subba () is a Nepali poet, lyricist, writer, and film director. He is one of the initiators of the movement called '' Srijanshil Arajakta'' (Creative Anarchy) along with Rajan Mukarung and Hangyug Agyat. Early life Subba was born in Angsarang-8, Panchthar, an eastern hilly district. His birth name was Upendra Bahadur Angdembe. In 1997, he moved to Kathmandu city from Damak to become a songwriter. His songwriting had started to see success with music composed by Shantiram Rai. His songs were sung by Deep Shrestha, Robin Sharma, Ananda Karki, Yam Baral and won some competitions. He became convinced that song recording was expensive and that the music industry was heading towards the directions unlike his taste. Jagadamba Shree Puraskar () is an award given to a person or an organization for contribution to Nepali language, literature, art and folk culture. It is presented alongside Madan Puraskar by Madan Puraskar Pustakalaya, on the day of Ghatasthapana; the first day of Dashain festival. History It is named after Rani Jagadamba Kumari Devi, the wife of General Madan Shumsher JBR an daughter in law of Prime Minister Chandra Shumsher JBR. It was established in 1989 (2045 BS) in Nepal. The Madan Puraskar () is a literary honor in Nepal which Madan Puraskar Guthi confers annually for an outstanding book in the Nepali language published within the calendar year. Amar Neupane () is a Nepalese writer and novelist. He is best known for his ''Madan Puraskar'' winning novel, '' Seto Dharti''. Jhamak Kumari Ghimire (; Born on 4 July 1980) is a Nepali literature, Nepalese writer. She was born with cerebral palsy and writes with her left foot. She is a columnist at the Kantipur (daily), Kantipur newspaper. Sharada Sharma (born 1958; ) is a Nepali writer and poet. Her debut novel, ''Taap'', won the 2012 Padmashree Sahitya Samman award.
