PTX Summer Tour 2018 was the seventh concert tour by American a cappella group Pentatonix to promote their sixth studio album, ''PTX Presents: Top Pop, Vol. I''. The tour began on July 12, 2018, in West Valley City, and concluded on September 16, 2018, in Tinley Park. Background and development On February 27, 2018, the group announced their new album, ''PTX Presents: Top Pop, Vol. I'', along with a 39-city tour. USANA Amphitheatre
The Utah First Credit Union Amphitheatre is an outdoor amphitheater, located in West Valley City, Utah. From 2003 to 2024, the Amphitheater was named after USANA Health Sciences, a manufacturer of nutritional supplements. A new naming rights agreement with Utah First Credit Union was announced on January 23, 2024. It offers a view of the Wasatch Mountains. The venue opened July 2003. Phish performed and recorded their show, on July 15, 2003, which was later released as a live album, entitled ''Live Phish 07.15.03''. The amphitheater has also played host to music festivals, including the KXRK, X96 Big Ass Show, The_Cure#1999–2005: The Trilogy and more personnel changes, Curiosa, Crüe Fest, Crüe Fest 2 and the Uproar Festival. Mark Summer
The Turtle Island Quartet is a string quartet that plays hybrids of jazz, classical, and rock music. The group was formed in 1985 by David Balakrishnan, Darol Anger, and Mark Summer in San Francisco. They released their first album on Windham Hill Records in 1988 with Irene Sazer. History The group plays jazz standards and original compositions that cross several styles, including blues, classical, jazz, and world music. Violinist David Balakrishnan got the idea for a jazz string quartet in 1985. He invited cellist Mark Summer, who had been working for three years as a member of a Canadian orchestra.
