PLDT Home Fibr Power Hitters
The PLDT High Speed Hitters (formerly the Smart Giga Hitters and the PLDT Home Fibr Power Hitters) is a professional women's volleyball team owned by PLDT. History The team debuted in 2018 as the Smart Prepaid Giga Hitters. The team was owned by Smart Communications. For the 2018 PSL Invitational Cup, the team partnered with the Philippine Army Lady Troopers and competed as the Smart–Army Giga Hitters. In September 2018, the PLDT Volleyball Club, PayMaya High Flyers, their affiliate team in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL), was merged with the team. In February 2019, the Smart Prepaid Giga Hitters changed its name to the PLDT Home Fibr Power Hitters. The team transferred to the PVL in February 2021, following the league's professionalization. The team changed their name to the High Speed Hitters in January 2022, in a lead up to the upcoming PVL season. Kath Arado
Kathleen Faith Pepito Arado (born May 22, 1998) is a Filipino volleyball athlete who plays as a libero for Premier Volleyball League club PLDT High Speed Hitters. She was a member of the UE Lady Warriors volleyball, UE Lady Warriors in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines, UAAP. She was named the UAAP Season 77 Rookie of the Year alongside Ennajie Laure. She also bagged the Best Libero award in the 2016 South East Asian Junior Women's Volleyball Championships in Sisaket, Thailand. Career Arado is a member of the Under-19 Philippines women's national volleyball team in 2016 which competed in the 2016 Asian Women's U19 Volleyball Championship. Kim Kianna Mababa Dy (born July 26, 1995) is a Filipino volleyball athlete. She is a member of the Philippines women's national volleyball team and the PLDT High Speed Hitters. Education Dy attended the De La Salle Santiago Zobel School from kindergarten to high school and finished her high school in 2013. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from De La Salle University. Career Dy studied at De La Salle University and a former member of the university's women's volleyball team. In high school, she played for the DLSZ Junior Archers in the UAAP Girls Division. Majoy Baron
Mary Joy "Majoy" Dela Cruz Baron (born December 12, 1995) is a Filipino volleyball player. She attended college at De La Salle University and played for its volleyball team. She is currently playing for the PLDT High Speed Hitters playing as a middle blocker. Baron is also part of the Philippine National Women's Volleyball Team. Personal life Baron originates from Concepcion, Tarlac, where she attended Concepcion Catholic School. Aside from sports, she also works as a model. Kim Fajardo
Kim Alano Fajardo (born September 30, 1993) is a Filipino volleyball athlete. She was the team captain of the De La Salle University women's volleyball team for Season 78 and 79. Career Fajardo first played volleyball when she was in Grade 2. In high school, she was a member of the UST Junior Golden Tigresses, where she played as a utility spiker, later converted to setter after Rhea Katrina Dimaculangan graduated high school. She was teammates with Alyssa Valdez in UST and the Philippine girls' volleyball team for the 2008 Asian Youth Girls Volleyball Championship where the Philippines finished in 8th place.
