2022 Premier Volleyball League Open Conference
The 2022 Premier Volleyball League Open Conference was the eleventh conference of the Premier Volleyball League (''38th conference of the former Shakey's V-League'') and its second conference as a professional league. The conference was held from March 16 to April 8, 2022, pending restrictions brought by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. A pool play format will be adapted for the first time wherein teams will be divided into two pools as opposed to a round-robin format where all teams play against each other at least once. Preliminary round was held at the Paco Arena in Manila. Quarterfinal round and Semifinals Game 1 & 3 was held at the San Juan Arena in San Juan. The Semifinals Game 2 and Finals Game 1 was held at SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay while Finals Game 2 was held at Ynares Center in Antipolo, Rizal. Dawn Macandili
Dawn Nicole Lirio Macandili-Catindig (born June 1, 1996) is a Filipino volleyball athlete. She is a member of the Philippines women's national volleyball team. She played in the UAAP for the De La Salle University Lady Spikers for 5 seasons (76-80), and is currently playing in the Premier Volleyball League for the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers. Personal life Macandili is a graduate of AB Psychology at De La Salle University. On March 2023, she married her boyfriend, Diego Catindig. Career Macandili was the first libero in the Philippines to receive a Most Valuable Player award when she won the award in the 2016 Philippine Super Liga All-Filipino Conference. She is also a member of the Philippine National Women's Volleyball Team that played in the 2017 Asian Women's Volleyball Championship, where in she was hailed as the 2nd Best Libero. The Philippine Army Lady Troopers, also known as the Black Mamba–Army Lady Troopers for sponsorship reasons, is the official women's professional volleyball team of the Philippine Army. The F2 Logistics Cargo Movers is a professional women's volleyball club in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL). The team is owned by Efren E. Uy (Chairman, President, and CEO) of F2 Logistics Philippines, Inc. Background The F2 Logistics Cargo Movers was formed by F2 Logistics Philippines Inc. It debuted in the Philippine Superliga (PSL) in 2016. On March 11, 2021, the team announced it has joined the professional Premier Volleyball League (PVL), following the exodus of other PSL teams to the PVL. The Chery Tiggo Crossovers are a professional women's volleyball team in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL). The team is owned by United Asia Automotive Group, Inc. (UAAGI). The team debuted in the Philippine Superliga (PSL) during the 2014 Grand Prix as the Foton Tornadoes. Heading to the 2020 season, the team was renamed to Chery Tiggo Crossovers. On March 10, 2021, the team announced it has joined the professional PVL. Ynares Center
The Ynares Center is an indoor sporting arena located along the Circumferential Road in Antipolo, Rizal, Philippines. The facility, which has a seating capacity of 7,400, is managed by the Provincial Government of Rizal.
