Aviatik P
Automobil und Aviatik AG was a German aircraft manufacturer during World War I. The company was established at Mülhausen (today in France) in 1909 and soon became one of the country's leading producers of aircraft. It relocated to Freiburg in 1914 and to Leipzig in 1916 and established a subsidiary in Vienna as Österreichisch-Ungarische Flugzeugfabrik Aviatik. During the war, the company became best known for its reconnaissance aircraft, the B.I and B.II, although the Austro-Hungarian subsidiary also produced a number of its own designs, including fighters such as the D.I. Holbrook Municipal Airport is a public use airport located northeast of the central business district of Holbrook, in Navajo County, Arizona, United States. It is owned by the City of Holbrook. This airport is included in the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems, which categorized it as a ''general aviation'' facility. Facilities and aircraft Holbrook Municipal Airport covers an area of 343 acres (139 ha) at an elevation of 5,262 feet (1,604 m) above mean sea level. LSWR P14 Class
The LSWR P14 class was a class of 4-6-0 locomotive designed by Dugald Drummond for the London and South Western Railway. Background The continuing need to grasp the nettle in terms of Drummond's first two 4-6-0 classes meant that he went back to the drawing board to create another design. The LSWR's immediate traffic needs were covered by the relatively successful G14 design of 1908, though with only five locomotives in the class, they were unable to undertake the haulage of all heavy boat train services. However, the problem of continually accelerating timetables to the South Coast ports remained, and the G14s were in dire need of assistance from a new class of similar design. The design's proven ability to ply their trade at faster speeds, and their inherent larger power-to-weight ratio on other lines meant that Drummond once again decided to persevere with the concept. P-14 Radar
The P-14 (also referred to by the NATO reporting name "Tall King") is a 2D VHF radar that was developed and operated by the Soviet Union. Development The design of the P-14 2D early warning radar started in 1955 by decree of the CPSU Central Committee. The P-14 being the first high power VHF radar to be developed by the Soviet Union, the radar was accepted into service in 1959 following the successful completion of the radars test program. The P-14 was developed under the direction of V.I. Ovsyannikov by the SKB Design Bureau, a division of State Plant No.197 named after V.I.Lenin, the predecessor of the current Nizhny Novgorod Research Institute of Radio Engineering (NNIIRT). The development team was awarded the Lenin prize by the Soviet Union in 1960 for the development of the P-14 radar. Papyrus 14 (in the Gregory-Aland numbering), α 1036 (in the Soden's numbering), signed by 𝔓14, is an early copy of the New Testament in Greek. It is a papyrus manuscript written in form of codex. The manuscript palaeographically has been assigned to the 5th century. Description The manuscript contains the text of the First Epistle to the Corinthians (1:25-27; 2:6-8; 3:8-10; 3:19-20). The manuscript is written in 1 column per page. The Greek text of this codex is a representative of the Alexandrian text-type. Aland placed it in Category II. It was discovered in Saint Catherine's Monastery on Mount Sinai in Egypt by J. Rendel Harris, who published its text in 1890. It was also examined by Schofield. The Rifle, .303 Pattern 1914 (or P14) was a British service rifle of the First World War period. A bolt action weapon with an integral 5-round magazine, it was principally contract manufactured by companies in the United States. It served as a sniper rifle and as second line and reserve issue until being declared obsolete in 1947. The Škoda-Kauba SK P14 was a ramjet-powered emergency fighter project for the ''Luftwaffe''. It was designed by the Škoda-Kauba industries towards the end of World War II as part of the Third Reich defense effort against the devastating allied bombing raids. Design and development Engineer Eugen Sänger worked on this ramjet fighter project after his Silbervogel proposal for a suborbital glider to the Reich Air Ministry was rejected. The fighter was an approved project in line with the 1944 designs of the High Command of the Luftwaffe for basic interceptors. The Škoda-Kauba Aircraft Industries, located in a suburb of Nazi-occupied Prague, designed the SK P14 as a single-seat monoplane powered by a Sänger ramjet engine. Since the ramjet had a diameter of 1.5 m and a length of 9.5 m, the massive engine and its tubular air-intake duct formed most of the fuselage structure.
