Aittitos Spata Football Club () is a Greek football club based in Spata, East Attica, Greece. It plays its home matches at the Spata Municipal Stadium "Dimitrios Dimitriou". History First period 1930–1946 In the early 1930s, two football teams with a subdued natural organization, "Mediterranean" and "Aittitos Spata", were used in our town to use the courtyard of the First Elementary School, where they began to play games with groups of neighboring cities. This, as an unprecedented fact, sparked the interest of the majority of the residents who harbored hundreds (men, women and children) to watch the games. Both teams played a match between them and the result was 8–2 in favor of the Mediterranean. The Mediterranean was a stronger team, but the vast majority of fans support Aittitos Spata. Spata () is a town east of downtown Athens, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Spata-Artemida, of which it is the seat and a municipal unit. The municipal unit (officially named Spata-Loutsa) has an area of 55.042 km2. It is part of the Athens metropolitan area. Geography and economy Spata is situated in the middle of the Mesogeia plain, east of Mount Hymettus and west of the Aegean Sea coast.
