Optik Records
Optik Records was a German hip hop label located in Berlin. The label was shut down in 2009 due to financial problems. History Founded in 2002 by Kool Savas, early records included " Optik Crew: Optik Mixtape Vol.1" by various label artists and " Der beste Tag meines Lebens" by Kool Savas. The '' Optik Youngstarz'' were founded in 2005 which included founder Savas' cousin. Also in 2005, Kool Savas released " Die John Bello Story". The 2006 Kool Savas/Optik Records compilation ''Optik Takeover'' was a hit in central Europe, reaching #8 on the German album charts, #39 in Switzerland, and #40 in Austria. Kool Savas
Savaş Yurderi (born 10 February 1975), known by his stage name Kool Savas, is a German rapper. Along with Taktlo$$, he formed the highly influential German rap duo Westberlin Maskulin (1997–2000). He was also a founding member of the German rap crew Masters of Rap in 1996. In 2012, he collaborated in "Xavas", a duo formation with Xavier Naidoo, a German soul and R&B singer-songwriter and actor in the album ''Gespaltene Persönlichkeit''. The two had already worked together on a number of other releases. Savas is considered one of the most successful, best and influential German rappers. He is often referred to as the King of German rap. His nickname is ''King Kool Savas'' (KKS) and ''Essah''. Ercandize
Ercan Kocer (born April 12, 1978), better known as Ercandize is a German rapper of Turkish ancestry and a certificated economist. He is signed on Kool Savas' label Optik Records. Ercandize grew up in Wesel. In his youth, he wrote graffiti until he started the rap crew ABS with Sedat and Daiker around 1993. Producer Discopolo, DJ Salicious and MC Short joined later. In 1999, ABS released their first single, "08-15/Focus", which was chosen as 12" of the month by the German hip hop magazine Juice and in mid-99, the first record contract was signed. Features with well-known German artists like Plattenpapzt, Too Strong, RAG and Roey Marquis as well as two more singles followed until ABS' debut album ''Kinderspiel - Leichter getan als gesagt'' was published. Monrose was a German pop girl group, first established in November 2006.
