''Yat yan fan sik leung gok'' () is a 1995 EP recorded by Chinese Cantopop singer Faye Wong when she was based in Hong Kong. The title track, by the band AMK with lyrics by Wyman Wong, was the only new song. The others had all been included in Faye Wong's previous albums. Track listing Cover versions Emmy the Great included a cover version of the title track in her 2011 album ''Virtue'' as a bonus track for the Asian version. Faye Wong
Faye Wong ( zh, 王菲; born Xia Lin on 8 August 1969) is a Hong Kong singer-songwriter. Early in her career she briefly used the stage name Shirley Wong. Born in Beijing, she moved to Hong Kong in 1987 and her debut album ''Shirley Wong'' (1989) came to public attention in the early 1990s by singing in Cantonese, often combining alternative music with mainstream Chinese pop. Since 1994, she has recorded mostly in her native Mandarin. In 2000, she was recognised by Guinness World Records as the "Best Selling Canto-Pop Female". Following her second marriage in 2005, she withdrew from the limelight, but returned to the stage in 2010. Hugely popular in Hong Kong, Taiwan, China and Singapore, she has also gained a large following in Japan. ''Virtue'' is the second album by London singer-songwriter Emma-Lee Moss–better known by the stage name Emmy the Great—and was released on 13 June 2011. It has been described as "meticulous and atmospheric" and has been praised for its poetic writing style. Background The album mixes themes from myths, fairy tales and saints' lives. Moss initially wanted the album to tell a story entirely from the point of view of various "characters", both fictional and historical, however, while writing the album, Moss' fiancé converted to Christianity and their relationship came to an end. As a result of this, Virtue would become, much like First Love, a very personal album. Moss explains that she "had this really weird period where I was supposed to be getting married... Emma-Lee Moss (born 4 November 1983), known by her stage name Emmy the Great, is an English singer-songwriter. Cocteau Twins
Cocteau Twins was a Scottish rock band active from 1979 to 1997. They were formed in Grangemouth by Robin Guthrie (guitars, drum machine) and Will Heggie (bass), adding Elizabeth Fraser (vocals) in 1981 and replacing Heggie with multi-instrumentalist Simon Raymonde in 1983.
