Omar Rudberg
Omar Josué Rudberg (born González, 12 November 1998) is a Venezuelan-Swedish singer and actor. Before launching his solo career in 2018, he gained recognition and began his professional music career in 2013 as a member of the Swedish boy band FO&O. He is best known internationally for his starring role as Simon Eriksson in the Netflix series ''Young Royals'' (2021–2024). Early life Rudberg was born Omar Josué González on 12 November 1998 in Anaco, Venezuela. When he was six years old, he moved to Sweden with his mother, Wilnur, who married his Swedish stepfather, Thomas Rudberg, from whom he took his surname. Anaco is a city in Anzoátegui State, Venezuela, the shire town of Anaco Municipality. It is an industrial town, connected to the natural gas and petroleum industries. FO&O is a Swedish pop boy band made up of Oscar Enestad, Omar Rudberg and Felix Sandman. Originally established in October 2013 under the name the Fooo, the group changed its name to the Fooo Conspiracy in September 2014. Founding member Oscar "Olly" Molander left the group in November 2016, and the group changed its name for a third time in February 2017, to FO&O. Melodifestivalen 2019 was the 59th edition of the Swedish music competition Melodifestivalen and was held from 2 February to 9 March 2019.
