Oleh Babiy
Oleh Ivanovych Babiy (22 October 1990 – 30 August 2023) was a Ukrainian military officer, colonel of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of Ukraine, and a participant in the military defence of Ukraine after the Russo-Ukrainian War. He was posthumously conferred the title of Hero of Ukraine with the Order of the Gold Star. Biography Babiy was born on 22 October 1990 in Milovice, Czechoslovakia. In 2011, he graduated from the Hetman Petro Sahaidachnyi Ground Forces Academy. He had been participating in the Russo-Ukrainian War since 2014. From the first days of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, he organised and carried out special operations in the Russian-occupied territories of Ukraine and in Russia, for which he was repeatedly awarded. Milovice
Milovice (; ) is a town in Nymburk District in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 14,000 inhabitants. In the 20th century, the history of the town was influenced by the presence of a military base. In the 21st century, Milovice is one of the fastest growing towns in the Czech Republic with one of the youngest populations. The Russian-occupied territories of Ukraine are areas of southern and eastern Ukraine that are controlled by Russia as a result of the Russo-Ukrainian War and the ongoing invasion. In Ukrainian law, they are defined as the "temporarily occupied territories". The Order for Courage () is a Ukrainian award established by Ukrainian president Leonid Kuchma on August 21, 1996. Design by Ukrainian artist Mykola Lebid. The Tupolev Tu-22M (; NATO reporting name: Backfire) is a supersonic, variable-sweep wing, long-range strategic and maritime strike bomber developed by the Tupolev, Tupolev Design Bureau in the 1960s.
