Tracy-Ann Oberman (born Tracy Anne Oberman; 25 August 1966) is an English actress, playwright and narrator. She is known for roles including Chrissie Watts in the BBC soap opera ''EastEnders'' (2004–2005, 2024) and Valerie Lewis or "Auntie Val" in the Channel 4 (UK), Channel 4 sitcom ''Friday Night Dinner'' (2011–2020). Following training at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, Central School of Speech and Drama in London, Oberman spent four years with the Royal Shakespeare Company, before joining the Royal National Theatre, National Theatre. Her theatrical experience includes appearing with Kenneth Branagh in David Mamet's ''Edmond (play), Edmond'' (2003) and a run in the West End revival of ''Boeing-Boeing (play), Boeing-Boeing'' (2007–2008). Heiko Oberman
Heiko Augustinus Oberman (1930 – 2001) was a Dutch historian and theologian who specialized in the study of the Reformation. Life Oberman was born in Utrecht on 15 October 1930. He earned his doctorate in theology from the University of Utrecht in 1957 and joined the faculty of the Harvard Divinity School in 1958. There he rose rapidly from instructor to associate professor and, in 1963, to professor of church history. He was appointed Winn Professor of Ecclesiastical History at Harvard Divinity School in 1964 and continued teaching there until 1966. He then accepted a chair in the theology faculty at the University of Tübingen, Germany, where he also became director of the Institute for Late Middle Ages and Reformation Research. Later in life, Oberman founded the Division for Late Medieval and Reformation Studies at the University of Arizona. Gustavo Andrés Oberman (born 25 March 1985 in Quilmes, Buenos Aires) is an Argentine football player. Career Nicknamed ''Cachete'', Oberman began his career at Argentinos Juniors in 2003, after the 2005 Clausura tournament he was transferred to River Plate, but he only spent one season there before returning to Argentinos Juniors in summer 2006. In June 2008 he was transferred from CD Castellón to the CFR Cluj of Romania for $500.000 . Since joining CFR Cluj Oberman has been loaned out to Córdoba CF of Spain in 2009 and then back to his first club Argentinos Juniors between 2009 and 2010 where he was an important member of the team that won the Clausura 2010 championship. Sheldon Oberman
Sheldon Oberman (May 20, 1949 – March 26, 2004) was a Canadian children's writer who lived in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Oberman (known to friends as Obie) grew up in the city's North End. After graduating from St. Johns High School, he studied literature first at the University of Winnipeg and then at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Oberman lived and travelled through Canada, Europe and the Middle East before he returned to Winnipeg in 1973, where he received his teaching degree. In 1975, he started working as an English, Drama and Journalism teacher at Joseph Wolinsky Collegiate, a job he held for nearly 30 years. Oberman started writing in the mid-seventies, inspired by bedtime stories he told his children. Miller Wolf Oberman is a poet who has won a Ruth Lilly fellowship, the 2016 92nd St Y’s Boston Review/ Discovery Prize and a 2023 NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellowship. His translation of selections from the “Old English Rune Poem” won Poetry’s John Frederick Nims Memorial Prize For Translation in 2013. His collection "Impossible Things" is forthcoming from Duke University Press on 10/22/24. "The Unstill Ones," his first collection of poems and Old English translations was published in September 2017 by Princeton University Press. Ooberman were an English band first formed in 1997 in Liverpool, England. The band released their debut album '' The Magic Treehouse'' in 1999. They split up in 2003, shortly after the release of their second album '' Hey Petrunko'', but reformed in 2006 and released their third album ''Carried Away'' the same year. Six of their singles have charted on the UK singles chart, with " Blossoms Falling" (1999) peaking at #39. History Early years In 1988, Ooberman founders Danny Popplewell and Andy Flett met in Bradford, and, together with Flett's younger brother Steve, formed the Forestry Commission. The band's life soon ended when Popplewell moved to Liverpool, but the three friends kept in touch. Subsequently, the Flett brothers moved to Liverpool.
