	OCN Blizzard The Northern Manitoba Blizzard are a Junior "A" ice hockey team from The Pas, Manitoba, Canada. They are members of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League, a part of the Canadian Junior Hockey League and Hockey Canada. History The team was founded by the Opaskwayak Cree Nation as the OCN Blizzard in 1996. It was a year in the making with the Cree Nation's goal to enter the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL). Their hockey development and recreation department spent many months prior getting the community members on board through community meetings and house to house visits. Boh Kubrakovich, Jim Smith and Nathan McGillivary spent time working with the SJHL prior to entering their current league, the Manitoba Junior Hockey League (MJHL). The Blizzard name and jersey was styled after the Utica Blizzard of the Colonial Hockey League. 	Humboldt Broncos The Humboldt Broncos are a Canadian junior "A" ice hockey team from Humboldt, Saskatchewan. Established in 1970, the Broncos play in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League. The Portage Terriers dominated the MJHL from start to finish this season, posting the best winning percentage in league history and going undefeated in the playoffs, to win their ninth Turnbull Cup. 	2013–14 MJHL Season The 2013–14 season was the Manitoba Junior Hockey League's (MJHL) 97th season of operation. The Selkirk Steelers posted the best record in the regular season with 49 win and 102 points. The Steelers, however, could not advance past the first round, as they were defeated by the Winnipeg Blues, the eventual Turnbull Cup champions. This was the Blues' 17th MJHL championship in franchise history. The Winnipeg Blues and Dauphin Kings both participated in the 2014 Western Canada Cup in Dauphin.
