O.F.T.B. (an abbreviation of Operation from the Bottom) was an American hip hop group from the Watts district of Los Angeles, California. The group O.F.T.B. consisted of three founding actual gang members Kevin "Flipside" White, Sammy "Bust Stop" Williams, and Ronald "Low M.B." Watkins, who grew up in Nickerson Gardens Project, which is home to the notorious gang Bounty Hunter Bloods. They were signed to Big Beat Records where they released their debut album ''Straight Up Watts'' in 1992 with the hit single "Slangin' Dope". Death Row Records is an American record label that was founded in 1991 by The D.O.C., Dr. Dre, Suge Knight, and Dick Griffey. Bounty Hunter Bloods
The Bounty Hunter Watts Bloods, also known as the Bounty Hunter Bloods, is a "set" of the Bloods gang alliance situated in the Nickerson Gardens public housing projects in Watts, Los Angeles. History The gang was originally established in 1969 but became well established by 1972. Whilst today it is a set of the Bloods, it was originally known as the Green Jackets. Gary Barker and Bobby Jack are believed to be the set's founders. The gang is perhaps most known for its longstanding rivalry with the Grape Street Watts Crips which has been described by gang experts as "the most violent and long lasting feud between two gangs that are in the Watts area". In 1992, the Watts truce was declared which saw a rapid decline in violence between the two street gangs. ''Gridlock'd – The Soundtrack'' is the soundtrack to Vondie Curtis-Hall film ''Gridlock'd'' and was released on 28 January 1997 by Death Row Records and Interscope Records. The track "Out the Moon (Boom, Boom, Boom)" was originally recorded for the LBC Crew debut album ''Haven't You Heard? (We Givin' Something Bacc To The Street)'', which was later shelved and the songs were cycled through other Death Row releases. The album had two chart running singles. "Lady Heroin" was originally going to be on Sam Sneed's unreleased album ''Street Scholars''. Murder Was The Case
''Murder Was the Case'' is a 1994 short film and soundtrack album starring and performed by Snoop Doggy Dogg. The 18 minute film was directed by Dr. Dre and Fab Five Freddy and chronicles the fictional death of Snoop Dogg and his resurrection after making a deal with the Devil. The film's title comes from Snoop's song of the same name from his debut album, '' Doggystyle'', which had been released a year earlier. The single " What Would You Do?" by Tha Dogg Pound was included on the ''Natural Born Killers'' soundtrack and was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group in the 38th Annual Grammy Awards in 1996. The album was re-released with a bonus DVD containing three music videos on July 11, 2006. Jewel Lynn Caples (June 12, 1968 – May 6, 2022), professionally known as Jewell (), was an American singer and songwriter, particularly known for her 90s stylistic west coast hip hop hooks of distinction and historic catalogue of collaborations with artists including N.W.A., Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Tupac Shakur, Dr. Dre, and Snoop Dogg. The Outlawz
Outlawz was an American hip-hop group founded by Tupac Shakur and Yafeu Fula in 1995. Originally known as Thoro Headz and Young Thugs, the group attracted attention with their appearance on Tupac's song "Flex", which was the B-side of his single "Holler If Ya Hear Me", released on February 4, 1993. Watts, California
Watts is a neighborhood in southern Los Angeles, California. It is located within the South Los Angeles region, bordering the cities of Lynwood, Huntington Park and South Gate to the east and southeast, respectively, and the unincorporated community of Willowbrook to the south. Founded in the late nineteenth century as a ranching community, the arrival of the railroads and the construction of Watts Station saw the rapid development of Watts as an independent city, but in 1926 it was consolidated with Los Angeles. ''Better Dayz'' is the eighth studio album and fourth posthumous album by the late American rapper 2Pac. It is his last double-album.
