Romanian (obsolete spellings: Rumanian or Roumanian; autonym: ''limba română'' , or ''românește'', ) is the official and main language of Romania and the Republic of Moldova. Brazda lui Novac is a Roman ''limes'' in present-day Romania, known also as Constantine's Wall. It is believed by some historians like Alexandru Madgearu to border Ripa Gothica. The vallum of Brazda lui Novac starts from Drobeta, nowadays it is visible to Ploiești. There is some evidence that the vallum eastern limit was the Siret River. The height of the vallum was 3 metres and the ditch was 2 metres deep. It is believed that the wall was raised during Tiberius Plautius Aelianus. Some historians such as Ioan Donat date the wall during the 1st century AD, others date the wall to 322 during Constantine I.Madgearu, Alexandru (2008). ''Fallout: New Vegas'' is a 2010 action role-playing game developed by Obsidian Entertainment and published by Bethesda Softworks. Ana Novac
Ana Novac (June 21, 1924/1929 – March 31, 2010) was a Romanian-born writer. She was born Zimra Harsányi in Dej in northern Transylvania and grew up in Oradea (''Nagyvárad''). Novac attended a Jewish school in Miskolc, Kingdom of Hungary (1920–46), Hungary. When Nazi Germany Operation Margarethe, took control of Hungary in 1944, she was sent to Auschwitz concentration camp, Auschwitz. She also spent time in Kraków-Płaszów concentration camp, Kraków-Płaszów and other smaller camps and was able to maintain a journal during her time in the camps. She was eventually liberated at Chrastava in Czechoslovakia in May 1945. However, her parents and younger brother did not survive. Novac returned to Romania. She moved to Berlin during the mid-1960s, later settling in Paris. Her journal was published as a book which was translated into a number of languages including French, German, Italian, Dutch and Hungarian. Starina Novak ( sr-Cyrl, Старинa Новак; ro, Baba Novac; bg, Баба Новак, meaning "Old Novak") was a Serb ''hajduk'' (brigand and rebel) who distinguished himself in many battles against the Ottoman Empire. He is considered a national hero by both the Serbs and the Romanians. Early life Novak was born in 1530 in the village of Poreč, on an island on the Danube, in the Timok Valley, at the time part of the Ottoman Empire (today Donji Milanovac, Serbia). He descended from a Timok family. He studied at the monastery of Poreč and was fluent in both Serbian and Old Slavonic. He also spoke Romanian and Greek. Military career He began his career as a ''hajduk'' at an early age after he was imprisoned and beaten by Turks, losing all his teeth (hence the name ''Old Novak'') that led him to leave his birthplace and take refuge in the forests of the Timok Valley where he quickly learned the use of weapons and military from a hajduk ''harambaša'' (commander).
