It was the first release by the band's new label Out of Line Music, on 24 July 2015 and was a change from the old Euro dance sound of the band. Massive Ego
Massive Ego was a British Darkwave musical group formed in 1996 by singer and ex-model, Marc Massive (also the owner of the Public Disordar label) and Andy J Thirwall. The band has changed its sound and image since its formation. The original releases being mostly covers in a Eurodance, Hi-NRG style. Massive and Thirwall later parted ways, and Massive searched for a new musical direction for the band. Collaborations with ''Empire State Human'' and ''Lia Organa & Electric Prince'' were the start of a darker sound for the band. The band joined alternative German label '' Out of Line Music'' in 2015 with the line-up; Marc Massive, Oliver Frost, Lloyd Price and Scot Collins. Their debut album for Out of Line was released on 17 February 2017. The current themes of the songs centre around the darker side of life, depression and anxiety, death, suicide, love, sex and vampirism. Dark wave (also typeset as darkwave) is a music genre that emerged from the new wave and post-punk movement of the late 1970s. Dark wave compositions are largely based on minor key tonality and introspective lyrics and have been perceived as being dark, romantic and bleak, with an undertone of sorrow. Low Life (Massive Ego EP)
''Low Life'' is the first EP from British darkwave band Massive Ego. It was a collaboration with the Irish electronic group Empire State Human. It was released on Marc Massive's own independent label, ''Public Disordar Records'', on 20 October 2014. Two singles preceded the album, and two singles donated profits from their release to animal charities. Two music videos were released to promote the EP; ''Sound of the Download'' and ''Low Life'' Background In 2014, Massive Ego began collaborating with Irish electronic band, Empire State Human, and on 4 February, ''Sound of the Download'' was released as a digital single. A song about illegal downloading. This would be the first release from a collaboration EP by the two bands. Beautiful Suicide
''Beautiful Suicide'' is the second studio album from British darkwave band Massive Ego. It was released as a double-disc album on the label Out of Line Music. It is the debut album for both the label, and the new lineup of the band. Background The album was recorded throughout 2016, with many tracks also performed live throughout the year, including "Let Go", written by Boy George, a friend of Marc Massive. This would later be announced as the lead single for the album, with a video being recorded in January 2017. Aesthetic Perfection is an American electronic musical project created by Daniel Graves in 2000. Biography Aesthetic Perfection was formerly signed directly to Metropolis Records in the United States and Out of Line Records in Europe, until Graves decided to run it on his independent label Close to Human Records. Additionally, the band was licensed to Gravitator Records in Russia and Death Watch Asia in Japan. The band's third album, ''All Beauty Destroyed'', was released on November 4, 2011, in Europe and November 8, 2011, in the United States. On March 29, 2019, Aesthetic Perfection released its sixth album, ''Into the Black''. Unlike previous albums which were released by labels, ''Into the Black'' was self-released. Leæther Strip
Leæther Strip is a Danish musical project founded on 13 January 1988 by Claus Larsen. Its influence has been most felt in the electronic body music and electro-industrial genres. Leæther Strip was one of the earliest and most prominent acts on Germany's now defunct Zoth Ommog record label. For distribution outside of Europe, the music has been licensed to the U.S. labels Cleopatra Records and Metropolis Records. After the demise of Zoth Ommog in 1999, Larsen signed to Bloodline Records, which only released a single before also going out of business. In 2005, Leæther Strip signed with the Belgian-based label Alfa Matrix. On 3 June 2011 Larsen announced his split from Alfa Matrix in order to self-release future material.
