Noam Jacobson
Noam Jacobson (; born April 27, 1975) is a musician, singer, songwriter, and bandleader from Ramat Gan, Israel. Jacobson was born and raised in Petah Tikva. He studied at the Nehalim, Nachalim Yeshiva, Amit Gush Dan, Yeshivat Har Etzion, and Yeshivat Otniel. He served in the Golani Brigade as part of a Hesder program. After his military service, he worked as a tour guide. He studied at the Rimon School of Jazz and Contemporary Music, Rimon School of Music, and concurrently pursued a bachelor's degree in musicology at Bar-Ilan University. During his studies, he collaborated with his teacher Riki Gal, and they co-wrote the song "At the End of the Day I Need You" which was released as a single in 2018 and included on her album Seeing the Years in 2009. Later, Gal participated on Jacobson's debut solo album. Riki Gal (; born July 7, 1950, in Jerusalem) is an Israeli singer. Gal, who reached the height of her career in the 1980s, sings a mix of blues, folk and pop. Biography Rivka Menashe (later Riki Gal) was born in 1950 to an Orthodox family in the poor neighborhood of Mea Shearim in Jerusalem. In her early years, Gal experienced a hard childhood: her parents divorced when she was two years old and she was taken to an institution in Kfar Saba along with her brother Menachem . Her mother was then able to raise the children on her own, but later could not afford the cost of growth, so she handed her children over to caregivers of the Finnish Lutheran Mission who raised them with strict discipline at the home Shalhevetya.
