No Mercy (2000)
The 2000 No Mercy was the third No Mercy professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE). It took place on October 22, 2000, at the Pepsi Arena in Albany, New York. The main event was a No Disqualification match for the WWF Championship. The Rock defended the title against Kurt Angle. Angle pinned Rock after an Angle Slam to win the title. The other main match was a No Holds Barred Match between the returning Stone Cold Steve Austin and Rikishi. Paul Michael Levesque (born July 27, 1969), better known by the ring name Triple H, is an American business executive, actor, and retired professional wrestler currently serving as the chief content officer for WWE. Darren Kenneth Matthews (born 10 May 1968), better known by the ring name William Regal, is an English retired professional wrestler. The World Tag Team Championship was the original professional wrestling world tag team championship in the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) promotion, and the promotion's third tag team championship overall. Los Conquistadores was a temporary gimmick of storyline brothers, Edge and Christian Cage of a heel jobber professional wrestling tag team in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), consisting of two masked wrestlers known as ''One'' (or Spanish ''Uno'' for "one") and ''Two'' (or Spanish ''Dos'' for "two").
