Niklas Schulz
Karl Niklas Schulz (born 10 October 2005) is a Finnish professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for AC Oulu in Veikkausliiga. Career Schulz has played in the youth sectors of Käpylän Pallo, HJK Helsinki and PKKU, before making his senior debut with Järvenpään Palloseura (JäPS) in the second-tier Ykkönen in 2023. For the 2023–24 season, Schulz joined Italian Serie D club Gravina. Oulun Luistinseura
Oulun Luistinseura (or OLS) is a Finnish multi-sports club, based in Oulu. The club has football, bandy, bowling and floorball sections. Football OLS football team was founded in 1941 by clubs bandy players. Throughout the years the club has played mostly in lower divisions, never competing in the highest tier of Finnish football except as a part of short lived merger with OTP called FC Oulu in the early 1990s. The 2025 Veikkausliiga is the 95th season of top-tier football in Finland, which takes place from April to November. Veikkaus is the league's sponsor. Teams The league consisted of twelve teams; ten teams remaining from the previous season, and two teams promoted from the Ykkösliiga. KuPS entered the season as defending champions. Team changes KTP were promoted as champions of the 2024 Ykkösliiga (returning to the top flight after a single year of absence), replacing EIF (relegated after a single season), the bottom-placed team of the 2024 Veikkausliiga. 2023–24 Serie D
The 2023–24 Serie D is the seventy-fourth season of the top-level Italian non-professional football championship. It represents the fourth tier in the Italian football league system. Rules The season will provide a total of nine promotions to Serie C (those being the winners of all nine groups). Teams placed between second and fifth for each group will play a so-called "playoff tournament," starting with two one-legged games played at the best-placed team's home venue: * 2nd-placed team vs 5th-placed team; * 3rd-placed team vs 4th-placed team. In case of a draw by the end of the game, two extra times will be played; in case of no winner after that, the best-placed team will advance to the final. 2023 Ykkönen
The 2023 Ykkönen was the 52nd season of Ykkönen, the second highest football league in Finland. The season began on 14 April 2023 and ended on 7 October 2023. It was the final season of the Ykkönen serving as the second-tier football league in Finland, following its demotion to third-tier. Twelve teams contested the league. The champions ( EIF) and runners-up ( Gnistan) were promoted to the 2024 Veikkausliiga. The second, third, and fourth-placed teams (Gnistan, MP, and SJK Akatemia) qualified for the Veikkausliiga play-off. The bottom two teams ( JJK and KPV) were relegated to the 2024 Ykkönen. The sixth-placed team (HIFK) dissolved after the season finished due to bankruptcy, giving the tenth-placed team ( KäPa) a reprieve from relegation.
