Nicolás Núñez
Nicolás Arnaldo Núñez Rojas, nicknamed Nico, (born 12 September 1984) is a Chilean football (soccer), football manager and former player who played as a midfielder. Club career Núñez began his career with Club Deportivo Universidad Católica, Universidad Católica in 2001, and subsequently played for Albacete Balompié in 2006 and Corporación Deportiva Everton de Viña del Mar, Everton de Viña del Mar in 2007. He participated in the South American championships in Arequipa, Peru, alongside Mauricio Pinilla, Mark Gonzalez, Luis Antonio Jiménez, Luis Jimenez and was debuted by U. Catholic in the first division, against University of Chile. In that institution, he always admitted that he stayed in good shape, even achieving goal scoring. Coquimbo Unido is a Chilean football club based in the city of Coquimbo. The club was founded in 1958 and has played in the Chilean Primera División since being promoted in 2022. Their home games are played at the Estadio Municipal Francisco Sánchez Rumoroso, which has a capacity of approximately 18,750 seats. History The club was founded on 30 August 1958. The 2023 Supercopa de Chile (known as the Supercopa Easy 2023 for sponsorship purposes) was the eleventh edition of the Supercopa de Chile, competition organised by the Asociación Nacional de Fútbol Profesional (ANFP). The CONMEBOL Libertadores, also known as Copa Libertadores de América (), is an annual continental club football competition organized by CONMEBOL since 1960. It is the highest level of competition in South American club football. The Copa Chile (''Chile Cup'') is an annual cup competition for Chilean football teams. Due to time constraints and club pressure, the trophy was cancelled in 2000, but returned in 2008. Its precursor was the Campeonato de Apertura (''Opening Championship''), played from 1933 to 1950. The cup is now open to every member club of the Chilean football league system, from professional teams; ( Primera División, Primera B & Segunda División), down to teams from the ANFA: Tercera División. Luis Fernando Vergara Meyland (born 13 May 1970), known as Fernando Vergara, is a Chilean football coach and former player. Nicknamed ''El Zamorano de los Pobres'' during his career, he played as a forward. Playing career A product of Audax Italiano youth system, in 1990 he played for Swiss side before returning to Chile and joining Universidad de Chile. In 1997, he had a trial with English Premier League club Crystal Palace and then had talks with Everton, but nothing came of either of these approaches and Vergara never played a competitive game in England. Ariel Roberto Pereyra Legallais (born 11 November 1973) is a retired Argentine–born Chilean footballer that has played at Godoy Cruz, Venezuela and several clubs in Chile. Club career Pereyra began his career at Godoy Cruz Antonio Tomba, professional club of his natal city Mendoza. There he played more than 100 games and scored 26 goals.
