Audax Italiano
Audax Club Sportivo Italiano () is a Chilean football club based in La Florida playing in the Campeonato Nacional, having has spent most of its history in the top tier of Chilean football. History The club was founded by Italian residents in Santiago, on November 30, 1910, as Audax Club Ciclista Italiano in Alberto Caffi's hat store, and was originally focused on cycling. As football developed quickly in Santiago, in 1917 the club began participating in that sport, and in 1922, when the popularity of football increased within Audax's supporters, the club changed its name to Audax Club Sportivo Italiano. In January 2007, the club was transformed into a limited liability corporation, and changed its name to Audax Italiano La Florida, adding the name of the ''comuna'' in which it's always been located. Estadio Bicentenario De La Florida
Estadio Bicentenario Municipal de La Florida is a multi-purpose stadium, located in La Florida, in eastern Santiago, Chile. It is the home stadium of Chilean football team Audax Italiano. The stadium was built in 1986 and rebuilt in 2008. The stadium also hosts a variety of events such as summer theatre festivals and music concerts, such as the KISS concert in early 2009. Faith No More performed at the stadium on October 30, 2009 as part of their The Second Coming Tour. Club de Deportes Santiago Wanderers is a football club based in Valparaíso, a founding member of the Chilean Football Federation. The Copa CONMEBOL () was an annual football cup competition organized by CONMEBOL between 1992 and 1999 for South American football clubs. During its time of existence, it was a very prestigious South American club football contest, similar to the UEFA Cup. Clubs qualified for the competition based on their performance in their national leagues and cup competitions. Teams that were not able to qualify for the Copa Libertadores would play in this tournament. The tournament was played as a knockout cup. The tournament ended in 1999, following the expansion of the Copa Libertadores to 32 teams. The 2023 Copa CONMEBOL Sudamericana was the 22nd edition of the CONMEBOL Sudamericana (also referred to as the ''Copa Sudamericana''), South America's secondary club football tournament organized by CONMEBOL.
