Nguyễn Phương Khánh
Nguyễn Phương Khánh (born April 5, 1995) is a Vietnamese model and beauty queen who was crowned Miss Earth 2018. She is the first Vietnamese woman to win the Miss Earth title, one of the Big Four international beauty pageants – the most coveted beauty titles when it comes to international pageant competitions. Early life and education Phương Khánh was born and raised in Bến Tre Province, in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam. Her parents divorced and her mother, Nguyễn Thi Phuong was a secondary school teacher in Thạnh Phú District in Bến Tre Province. She has two brothers and one of which is a prominent make-up artist in Vietnam, Hy Nguyễn. She is a marketing student in Curtin Singapore, a branch campus of Australia's Curtin University. Miss Earth 2010
Miss Earth 2010, the 10th anniversary of the Miss Earth pageant, was held on 4 December 2010 at the Vinpearl Land Amphitheater in Nha Trang, Vietnam. Larissa Ramos of Brazil crowned her successor Nicole Faria of India at the end of the event. She was the first Miss Earth from India. Eighty-four contestants from various countries and territories competed for the Miss Earth 2010 title. The event was broadcast live by STAR World, VTV, ABS-CBN, Studio 23, The Filipino Channel, and other partner networks. Karen Santos Ibasco (; born December 17, 1990) is a Filipina physicist and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Philippines Earth 2017. Miss Earth 2017, the 17th edition of the Miss Earth pageant, with the theme "Heroines fighting climate change", was held on November 4, 2017 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay, Metro Manila, Philippines. Miss Earth 2015, the 15th edition of the Miss Earth pageant, was held on 5 December 2015 at Marx Halle in Vienna, Austria. Jamie Herrell of the Philippines crowned her compatriot Angelia Ong as successor at the end of the event. It was the first time the pageant was held in Europe outside of Asia.
