New England Collegiate Conference
The New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) is an National Collegiate Athletic Association, NCAA NCAA Division III, Division III men's volleyball and esports List of college athletic conferences in the United States, college athletic conference based in the Northeastern United States. The NECC was formerly an all-sports conference from 2008 to 2023. The conference rebranded as New England Volleyball Conference (NEVC) starting in 2023–24 year after becoming a men's volleyball-only conference. History In June 2007, nine colleges from New England announced the creation of a new athletic conference under the same NECC name. The New England Conference (full name: New England College Conference of Intercollegiate Athletics) was a collegiate sports conference in the Eastern United States, more specifically in New England, that operated from 1923 to 1947. As four of its charter members remained aligned in football from the conference's inception through 2011, this conference can be considered the earliest ancestor of the Colonial Athletic Association football conference. Dean College is a private college in Franklin, Massachusetts. It offers bachelor's degrees, associate degrees, and certificates.
