New Cross Inn
The New Cross Inn is a music venue and pub located at 323 New Cross Road, in the New Cross area of the London Borough of Lewisham, in south-east London. History A pub with that name has existed in that area since at least the late 1700s, though the current building is estimated to be from the late 1800s. ''Dickens's Dictionary of the Thames'' from 1880 refers to an angling society based there. In the 1890s a political group named the ''International Anarchist Agitator Group'' organised a 'Social Evening' at the pub during which songs were played on piano, followed by Anarchist declarations and speeches. The pub was briefly called Bar Alchemy in the 2000s before reverting. In the late 2000s, around the time of new rave's popularity in the music press and the Angular Recording Corporation bringing attention to the area, it first became known as an alternative music venue. Lewisham ( ) is an area of southeast London, England, south of Charing Cross. It is the principal area of the London Borough of Lewisham, and was within the Historic counties of England, historic county of Kent until 1889. It is identified in the London Plan as one of 35 major centres in Greater London, with a large shopping centre and street market. Lewisham had a population of 60,573 in 2011. Apologies, I Have None are an English melancholic, punk-influenced quartet from London, England. History Apologies, I Have None started off as a two piece drums and guitar band, consisting of Dan Bond and Josh Mckenzie. In 2007 they released their first EP, "Done" which was available on CD and as a free download through the band's website. On 18 March 2009 they released their second EP "Two Sticks and Six Strings". Later on in 2009 they expanded the line up by adding PJ Shepherd on bass and 乔 沃森 on drums. On 1 April 2010, Apologies, I Have None released a Double A-side 7", featuring the tracks "Sat In Vicky Park" and "Joiners And Windmills". False Advertising are a British three-piece alternative rock group from Manchester and Oxford, England. Discharge are an English hardcore punk band formed in 1977 in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. The band is known for influencing several sub-genres of extreme music and their songs have been covered by some of the biggest names in heavy metal and other genres. Department S are a British post-punk/ new wave band formed in 1980, who took their name from the 1960s TV series '' Department S''. They are best known for their debut single, " Is Vic There?", which was originally released in December 1980 and reached No. 22 on the UK Singles Chart the following year. Crazy Town (sometimes abbreviated as CXT) was an American rap rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1995 by Bret "Epic" Mazur and Shifty Shellshock (Seth Brooks Binzer).
