''Never Run, Never Hide'' is the second studio by pop-rock singer-songwriter Benny Mardones album, released in May 1980 by Polydor Records. It included his biggest hit, " Into the Night", which peaked that year at No. 11 in the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 chart, and re-charted nine years later, in 1989. Mardones said that the music was based on reality, stating in an interview that "nothing on my album is made up." The track "American Bandstand", which was written about the music TV show of the same name and the presenter and host Dick Clark, was performed on ''American Bandstand''. Ruben Armand "Benny" Mardones (November 9, 1946 – June 29, 2020) was an American pop/rock singer and songwriter who was best known for his hit single " Into the Night", which hit the top 20 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 chart twice, in 1980 (#11) and again in 1989 (#20). Gregory Calbi (born April 3, 1949) is an American mastering engineer at Sterling Sound, New Jersey. Biography Greg Calbi was born on April 3, 1949, in Yonkers, New York, and raised in Bayside, Queens, New York. He graduated in 1966 from Bishop Reilly High School in Fresh Meadows. Calbi earned his bachelor's degree in Mass Communications at Fordham University where he studied with Marshall McLuhan and his staff for 3 of those years.
