Nejmeh Sporting Club () is a Association football, football club based in Manara, a neighbourhood in Ras Beirut, Beirut, Lebanon, that competes in the . The club was established in Beirut in 1945, and received its license in 1947. Nejmeh have won nine Lebanese Premier League titles, eight Lebanese FA Cup, Lebanese FA Cups, 12 Lebanese Elite Cup, Lebanese Elite Cups, and seven Lebanese Super Cup, Lebanese Super Cups. In Asia, Nejmeh were runners-up in the 2005 AFC Cup, where they lost to Al-Faisaly SC, Al-Faisaly of Jordan. Rafic Hariri Stadium
Rafic Hariri Stadium (), also known as Al Manara Stadium () or Nejmeh Stadium (), is a multi-use stadium in the Manara district of Beirut, Lebanon. It is currently used mostly for Association football, football matches and serves as the home for Nejmeh SC, Nejmeh. The stadium has a capacity of 5,000 spectators, as well as a VIP seats area that accommodates around 100 guests, a cafeteria, and a gymnasium. History The Old Stadium The old club stadium consisted of a sand training field over the land number 704 in Ras Beirut area with no facilities or fences. The Beirut derby () is the name given in football to any match between cross-city rivals Ansar and Nejmeh. The derby has historically been the most anticipated game in Lebanon: both located in Beirut, Nejmeh and Ansar have shared the majority of Lebanese Premier League titles. Al Shabiba Mazraa Beirut (; ), also historically known as Cercle de la Jeunesse Catholique in French, was a football club based in the Mazraa district of Beirut, Lebanon. The Lebanese Second Division () is the second division of Lebanese football. Established in 1933, it is controlled by the Lebanese Football Association. The 12 teams that participate in the league play each other twice, once at home and once away, with the champions and the second placed team qualifying to the Lebanese Premier League to replace the bottom two teams.
