"Telesecundaria+" is a system of distance education programs for secondary education, secondary and high school students created by the Federal government of the United Mexican States, government of Mexico and available in rural areas of Mexico, the country as well as Central America, South America, Canada and the United States via satellite (Solidaridad 1 and Satmex 5). Tropical Storm Alberto (2024)
Tropical Storm Alberto was a broad but short-lived tropical cyclone that affected portions of Mexico, Texas, and Louisiana during June 2024. The first named storm of the 2024 Atlantic hurricane season, Alberto originated on June 12 from a broad area of disturbed weather in the Gulf of Mexico. A few days later, a low-pressure area formed from the disturbance, over the Bay of Campeche. It would steadily coalesce, and despite not being a tropical cyclone yet, would be designated as ''Glossary of tropical cyclone terms#P, Potential Tropical Cyclone One'' by the National Hurricane Center on June 17 due to its proximity to the coast.
