The National Transport University (NTU) is a higher education institution with an IV level of accreditation in Kyiv, Ukraine. The main building is located in the capital and major reconstructed building of the former Kyiv-Pechersk Gymnasiumbr> History In 1944, the Order of the Council of People's Commissars of the USSR No. 11.06 of November 7, 1944, established the Kyiv Automobile and Road Institute (KADI), the future National Transport University (NTU). Two faculties were created, road and mechanical, for the training of specialists in four specialties: highways, bridges, automobiles, and the automobile industry, road machines, and mechanisms. Yuriy Mykolayovych Dadenkov has been appointed as the director of KADI. In 1945, 247 students and 49 professors, associate professors, and teachers worked at KADI.
