National Governors Conference (Mexico)
The National Conference of Governors (Spanish language, Spanish: ''Conferencia Nacional de Gobernadores'') is a non-governmental organization in Mexico that consists of the governors of the List of states of Mexico, states of Mexico. The organization, known by the acronym CONAGO, was established in 2001 with a meeting of 20 governors in Mazatlan. The following year, 2002, marked the first meeting of CONAGO at which the governors of all 31 states attended. Governors of ten states left the CONAGO on September 7, 2020 in Mexico, 2020. The governors all belong to the ''Alianza Federalista'' (Federalist Alliance) and they have criticized the government's responses to the health and economic responses to the COVID-19 pandemic in Mexico. José Ignacio Peralta
José Ignacio Peralta Sánchez (born October 1, 1970) is a Mexican politician from the Institutional Revolutionary Party who served as the Governor of Colima until 2021. Life Peralta was born in the state capital of Colima City and earned his bachelor's degree in economics at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM). In 1993, he began working for the Banco de México, and three years later, he began pursuing a master's degree from the University of Essex; from 1998 to 2002, Peralta was a deputy manager in Banxico's department devoted to international exchange and metals and finished his career at the central bank in the national exchange division. Diego Sinhué Rodríguez Vallejo (born 15 November 1980) is a Mexican politician affiliated with the National Action Party (PAN) who served as the governor of Guanajuato from 2018 to 2024.
