National Emblem March
A national emblem is an emblem or seal that is reserved for use by a nation state or multi-national state as a symbol of that nation. Many nations have a seal or emblem in addition to a national flag. Other national symbols, such as national birds, trees, flowers, etc., are listed at lists of national symbols. Terms: emblem, coats of arms, seal The design of an emblem is different to that of a coat of arms which should follow the rules of heraldry and so contain a shield (escutcheon) in the center. However, many unheraldic national emblems are colloquially called national coats of arms anyway, because they are used for the same purposes as national coats of arms. Some designs of national emblems can be used one-to-one for a national seal.Seal and emblem of the United States Department of the Army: not a ''national'' emblem/seal but an example for a emblem ''and'' a seal, see alsoDepartment of the Army Emblem U.S. Army Center of Military History The same for some national ...

Emblem Of Italy
The emblem of the Italian Republic () was formally adopted by the newly formed Italian Republic on 5 May 1948. Although often referred to as a coat of arms (or in Italian), it is an emblem as it was not designed to conform to traditional heraldic rules. The emblem is used extensively by the Italian government. The emblem, shaped as a Roman wreath, comprises a white five-pointed star, the (English: "Star of Italy"), which is the oldest national symbol of Italy, since it dates back to the Graeco-Roman tradition, with a thin red border, superimposed upon a five-spoked cogwheel, standing between an olive branch to the left side and an oak branch to the right side; the branches are in turn bound together by a red ribbon with the inscription in "" in Roman square capitals. The armorial bearings of the House of Savoy, blazoned ''gules a cross argent'', were previously in use by the former Kingdom of Italy; the supporters, on either side ''a lion rampant Or'', were replace ...

Coat Of Arms Of Haiti
The coat of arms of Haiti is the national coat of arms of the Republic of Haiti. It was originally introduced in 1807, and it has appeared in its current form since 1986. Since this Haitian national symbol does not conform to the rules of heraldry for a traditional coat of arms, then it could be considered a national emblem instead (national emblem of Haiti). Overview It has six draped flags of the country, three on each side, which are located behind a palm tree and cannons on a green lawn. Upon the lawn are various items, including a drum, bugles, cannonballs and ship anchors. Above the palm tree is a liberty cap placed as a symbol of freedom. The ribbon bears the motto , which is also the motto of several other countries. This should not be confused with the national motto of Haiti, which according to the Constitution of Haiti is ''Liberté, égalité, fraternité'' (French for 'Liberty, Equality, Fraternity'). History The oldest use of a symbol for Haiti is known since 180 ...

Emblem Of Libya
Since 2011, Libya currently does not have an official national emblem. The Constitutional Declaration issued by the National Transitional Council in August 2011 defines the flag of Libya, but does not make any provisions for a coat of arms. A new biometric Libyan passport was revealed in February 2013. The cover of the new passport depicts a star and crescent as its central feature, as found in the flag of Libya. Thus, the symbol can be considered a ''de facto'' emblem for Libya. The Government of National Unity, established in March 2021 has adopted an official seal incorporating a crescent moon and star and the name of the state and government in Arabic. Supporter (heraldry)
In heraldry, supporters, sometimes referred to as ''attendants'', are figures or objects usually placed on either side of the Escutcheon (heraldry), shield and depicted holding it up. Historically, supporters were left to an individual's free choice and were assumed and changed at will, not always having any meaning whatsoever. In more modern times, restrictions have been put in place in certain countries and nowhere more prevalent than in the United Kingdom. Early forms of supporters are found in medieval seals. However, unlike the coronet or helmet (heraldry), helmet and crest (heraldry), crest, supporters were not part of early medieval heraldry. As part of the heraldic achievement (heraldry), achievement, they first become fashionable towards the end of the 15th century, but even in the 17th century were not necessarily part of the full heraldic achievement (being absent, for example, in ''Siebmachers Wappenbuch'' of 1605). The figures used as supporters may be based on ...
