Description It provides free CPR training to various individuals and groups to prepare first responders for emergencies. The center conducts health camps that offer free check-ups and health screenings for heart disease, benefiting underserved communities. The free telemedicine service of the center provides support to Nepali migrant workers with heart health issues, offering both medical assistance and counseling.It has recently launched a program to screen low-income families for undiagnosed heart disease. Om Murti Anil
Om Murti Anil (; born 31 October 1978) is a Nepalese cardiologist, social worker, author and social media influencer. He is the founder of the National Cardiac Centre and is recognized for his contributions to cardiovascular health awareness in Nepal and beyond.6 In 2014, he led and funded an 11-day heart camp, the largest in the country, providing free heart checkups and treatment to 6859 individuals along with research on causes of heart disease in youths. He has published two books: '' Ma Pani Doctor'' (2013), aimed at public health education; and '' Jiwanta Sambandha'' (2023), a memoir exploring the importance of relationships and fatherhood. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is an emergency procedure used during Cardiac arrest, cardiac or Respiratory arrest, respiratory arrest that involves chest compressions, often combined with artificial ventilation, to preserve brain function and maintain circulation until spontaneous breathing and heartbeat can be restored. Smokers are not selfish was a health campaign that took place in Nepal with the aim of encouraging individuals to Smoking cessation, quit smoking. This event spanned two weeks, culminating on February 14, 2024, which coincided with both Valentine's Day and Vasant Panchami. It was initiated by Om Murti Anil, Dr. Om Murti Anil.
