Natalia Pallu-Neves
Natalia Pallu-Neves (born June 12, 2004) is a British-Brazilian ice dancer who currently competes for Brazil. With her skating partner, Jayin Panesar, she is the 2022 British national junior bronze medalist. Additionally, she secured two bronze medals in the junior category at the previous two British Championships with her former partner, Frank Roselli. Pallu-Neves and Panesar started to represent Brazil in the 2022–23 season, becoming the first Brazilian ice dancers to compete in the senior level. Personal life Natalia Pallu-Neves was born on June 12, 2004, in London, England. Her parents, who were born in Curitiba and Salvador in Brazil, moved to England before her birth. She is currently pursuing a degree in History at Queen Mary University. Four Continents Figure Skating Championships
The Four Continents Figure Skating Championships (4CC) is an annual figure skating competition. The International Skating Union established it in 1999 to provide skaters representing non-African and non-European countries with a similar competition to the much older European Figure Skating Championships. The event's name refers to North America and South America are both the Americas, Asia and Oceania (four of the continents represented in the Olympic rings, omitting Africa and Europe). Medals are awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pairs, and ice dance. Historically, the 4CC has been dominated by just four countries – Canada, China, Japan, and the United States – which have won a combined 267 out of 276 possible medals. 2023 Four Continents Figure Skating Championships
The 2023 Four Continents Figure Skating Championships took place at the Broadmoor World Arena from February 7–12, 2023, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, in the United States. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, women's singles, pairs, and ice dance. Nations from non-European countries could send 3 entries at most for every discipline. Egna Trophy
The Egna Spring Trophy, formerly the Gardena Spring Trophy (through 2016), is an annual international figure skating competition. It is held every spring in Val Gardena in Italy. Medals are awarded in men's and ladies' singles and sometimes in other disciplines. Since its inception in 1990, the event has included a junior-level competition. The 2023 World Figure Skating Championships will be held in Saitama, Japan from March 20–26, 2023. The competition will determine the entry quotas for each federation at the 2024 World Championships. Courchevel () is a French Alps ski resort. It is a part of Les Trois Vallées, the largest linked ski areas in the world. Courchevel also refers to the towns of Courchevel 1300 (Le Praz), Courchevel 1550, Courchevel 1650 (Moriond), and Courchevel 1850, which are named for their altitudes in metres. On 1 January 2017, Saint-Bon-Tarentaise (1100) merged into the new commune Courchevel. The resort centre of Courchevel is at 1,747 metres (5,732 ft). The name Courchevel 1850 was chosen for marketing reasons to compete with rival ski resort Val d'Isère.
