Nasser Al-Shamrani
Nasser Al-Shamrani () (born 23 November 1983) is a former Saudi Arabian association football, footballer who played for the Saudi Arabia national football team, Saudi Arabia national team as a Striker (association football), forward. Often considered one of the most versatile, effective Saudi Arabian strikers of all time, he won the Asian Footballer of the Year award in 2014. Club career Al-Wehda Al-Shamrani began his professional career at the age of 20 playing with Al-Wehda Club (Mecca), Al-Wehda's first team, in the 2003–04 season. He was young then, but along with his teammate Essa Al-Mehyani, was one of the main strikers at the club. Even though Al-Wehda had talented young strikers, they did not win any tournaments and the highest rank they achieved in the Saudi Premier League was 3rd place in the 2006–07 season. The 2006–07 Saudi Premier League was the 31st Saudi Pro League season and the last to feature the Golden Four format. Al-Shabab were the defending champions, but they were eliminated by Al-Wehda in the first stage of the Golden Four. Prince Faisal Bin Fahd League U-21
The Prince Faisal bin Fahd Cup, formerly known as the Saudi Federation Cup, was an association football competition organized by the Saudi Arabian Football Federation. History The competition was founded in the 1975–76 season, with Al-Nassr as the first champion. Initially, it was for senior teams, but the rules were later changed to allow only players under 23 years of age. However, after a few years and a lack of spectator interest, the competition was reopened to players of all ages. In 2000, the name of the competition was changed from saudi federation Cup to its current title, a decision made to commemorate the late Prince Faisal bin Fahd. Al Raed Saudi Football Club ( ''Nādī ar-Rāʾid''; ) is a Saudi football club based in Buraidah, and the first of its kind in the Qassim region of Saudi Arabia.
