The Saudi Pro League (SPL for short) ( ar, دوري المحترفين السعودي, link=no, ''Dawriyy al-Muḥtarifayni as-Suʿūdī''), known as the Roshn Saudi League (RSL for short) for sponsorship reasons, is the top division of association football in the Saudi Arabian league system. From 2013 to 2019, it was known as the Abdul Latif Jameel League, or Dawry Jameel, as it was sponsored by Abdul Latif Jameel. The first season of competition was the 1976–77 season. Al-Ahli Saudi Football Club ( ar, النادي الأهلي السعودي) is a Saudi Arabian professional football club based in Jeddah, that competes in the second division of Saudi Arabian football, following their relegation from the Saudi Professional League in the 2021–22 season. The club was founded in 1937. Domestically, Al-Ahli has won three Saudi Professional Leagues, holds record of 13 King's Cups, six Crown Prince Cups, one General League Shield, and one Super Cup. Al-Qadsiah Football Club ( ar, نادي القادسية) is a Saudi Arabian professional football club that competes in the Saudi First Division League. They are based in Khobar and their home ground is the Prince Saud bin Jalawi Stadium. Al-Ettifaq was established after the merging of three clubs in the city of Dammam at the year 1944.
